A quaint, elegant store filled with beautiful stationary…read more I've been talking with myself each night before I go to bed about how I'm going to someday be like my mother and write thank-you notes, and Christmas cards, and love letters to all the memorable people in my life. I haven't yet become this person... But I still love to imagine what I would be like if I used this gorgeous stationary to lull all my neighbors into a classy, demure, lithographic relationship. I'm lucky enough to own the collection of love letters from BOTH sets of my grandparents, written to each other during WWII and college years away from Missouri farmland. Ahhh-- the beauty of the written letter. I sit here and type away while secretly wishing I was writing on hand-crafted stationary.

I was expecting stellar service and felt good they are a nonprofit…read more Poor customer service - I made an appointment with Lisa and selected an invitation style. It took nearly two weeks to find out that the style I selected was out of stock. No worries! I had a second choice already picked out and promptly provided the details. It was frustrating that they kept insisting they didn't have everyone's contact information when all parties involved were CC on all emails I sent. It was also alarming to be told Lisa no longer wished to be on our email communications and I was now to work with a different associate. The final slight came when due to my original choice being out of stock and some back and forth on the written details - I was not given 3 days grace period to approve the proof before being made to place a 50% deposit or lose out on a promotional discount of 20%. I had come in and made a selection 3 weeks prior and well within the promotional deadline. Overall underwhelmed.

As I was getting ready for the event, OD corporate called me and said my order couldn't be processed because there was an issue with my billing address. I entered and the staff was quite busy, it was one of those times when everything was happening at once. Lots of spinning plates. The manager came out to help and worked diligently getting everyone taken care of. She did it calmly and was so helpful. Thank you so much!

Located in Webster Groves, it sells all sorts of unique, handmade-looking (they're probably actually handmade, too) home goods. Everything feels like a statement piece with how personality they have, but they all have practicality to them. It makes it really easy (and dangerous) for me to justify all of the purchases. The prices are very fair, and I love that most products come in the same design and different sizes. Service is great, vibes are great, shop is beyond aesthetically pleasing (peep the gorgeous ceiling!). I think about Forth and Home a ridiculous amount and try to come up with every excuse to swing by, and I can't recommend it enough.
