I have been to Floral Park, Williston Park, New Hyde Park and Levittown and all the locations operate this way. You must be able to work with many different types of people in the families stressful times and the staff here does this perfectly. I have only heard wonderful things about the staff during a families difficult times. The homes are always very clean and well kept. They usually have a coffee machine (Kurig) if you want some tea or coffee. The staff here is always attentive to the needs of the visitors. My husband of 37 yrs sadly passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from a cardiac aneurysm and for you to ask if I have the correct funeral home is quite insensitive & insulting. I dealt with Christine. She was very cold and 'matter of fact'. Everything I posted indeed happened. I certainly would have liked to have management there on that evening. As you can imagine, it was an extremely sad & stressful time for myself and our three sons. There was no one present to ask for help. Again, once the bill was settled, management disappeared. I did receive a cake from a bakery from your buisness the following week which was the only upside as I hadn't eaten for days. I still feel very badly as things could've gone a whole lot better. Again, no one even asked if I needed anything or helped the guests get situated. I literally stood up the whole time not knowing what to do. It took me a while to have the courage to even write this. It's difficult to continue to realize that things did not go well.

Easy access from Old County road across from Eisenhower Park, the first buildings are the offices and what appeared to be a mausoleum. I needed to find the burial site so found a small parking lot behind the offices and as I was heading in, I noticed some public restrooms with entrances from the parking lot - so you know, in the need to let that coffee go, I popped in. Restroom was clean and well maintained. Somewhat on the older side, it reminded me of restrooms from grade school. With that business handled, I found the main entrance to the office and after a few moments with the helpful staff, I had a map in hand and an approximate location as to where the plot was. Found the well marked section and spent a few moments figuring out the stone sequence and found the person I was looking for. The grounds are well maintained - the stones are all a certain height - makes for a uniform appearance. I paid my respects, headed out - exits were clearly marked. a Good experience overall

Received a call back in 10 minutes from Chris, the director. 10 minutes on a Saturday night!!! That speaks volume about this firm's commitment to their clients. Met with Chris Sunday morning. He was a sincere, regular guy who clearly laid options and pricing. "No surprises," he said. True to his words, there were none later on. He also went above and beyond, pointing out my dad's eligibility for a US Navy honor guard at the gravesite as dad was on the Intrepid in the 50's. That was a powerful touch that we didn't even know about. That was all Chris' doing and was indeed awesome. He also tracked down a extra large-size limo for our family. I can go on but, suffice it to say, if you are unfortunately in need of funeral services, Chris and his team at Weigand Bros. are outstanding and I could not at all more highly recommend them.
