4/7/15. 11:00am. -------------------------------------------------------- What a pleasant surprise when my friend Shirley & I drove up to this place this morning. What awaited me was a 90 minute Deep Tissue Massage. She said no vacation was complete without some spoiling .....I can't begin to tell you what an excellent massage I received. This woman had golden hands! I almost fell asleep as soft music played in the background. I FELT GREAT...and so relaxed afterwards. What a sweet friend I have! read more

Meh. Impersonal, expensive, and not that relaxing. Hippy things don't mean a great massage. It felt like i was an inconvenience even after scheduling problems. I've used to be a healer, and know how energy works, I felt like I received more negative than was released from my body. Every body has an off day, Kristy may have had one of those days, but I'd rather of been cancelled instead of my $$ taken. read more

I've been going here awhile and always loved the results but the last massage I had was easily the best I've ever had. I haven't felt this good in a long time. She is also an incredible teacher. What I take away isn't just the immediate relief from pain and soreness, but lasting practical knowledge on how to keep that pain from coming back. read more

Professional, effective massage therapy that is convenient and relevant to modern life. My name is Kristiana Jourgensen, owner of Casper Massage. I am a Certified Massage Therapist and Insured member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. I offer Swedish, Deep Tissue and On-Location Chair massage as well online scheduling, payments and online gift certificate purchases. My massage style is centered around affecting positive change in your body, mental state and overall quality of life. If change is the only constant we can count on, then we must continually renew ourselves by finding ways to heal and adapt from the stresses and emotions our body, mind and souls take on every day. I provide massage therapy that get's results whether it be for stress/pain management or to feel relaxed and rejuvenated, by increasing circulation, calming the nervous system and providing your spirit the space to rest and heal through effective massage techniques.

History

Established in 2003.

My first massage practice was originally located above Alpenglow Natural Foods located in Casper, Wyoming. I then moved to Santa Cruz, California where I established a massage practice focusing on working with breast cancer patients and survivors. I have practiced in Chiropractors offices, spas and working for myself all over the country ever since and am now back home in Casper, Wyoming to serve our thriving community.

Meet the Business Owner: Kristiana J.

I was trained in massage at the Heartwood Institute in Garberville, California, graduating with a degree in Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage Therapy in 2003. I was always interested in alternative healing, foods, medicine and products ever since I was 12 but when I was 19, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma- a cancer of the lymphatic system. This pushed my holistic interest into a "crucial study" rather than a hobby. Gratefully I have been in blessed remission since 2002. During the time I was sick I used massage, wheatgrass, Essiac Tea, Tai Chi, Yoga and meditation to get through my hardest moments with grace and love. I believe if it weren't for the combination of western medicine and addressing my spiritual needs through alternative methods I wouldn't be alive today. This experience greatly influenced my decision to pursue a career in holistic healing. I learned that no physical ailment can be separated from your emotional or mental bodies.

Massage (asian) woman didn't understand english nor did she speak it therefore she couldnt understand my directions such as the pressure I wanted. I was way too hard even after she pulled out her translator app, she STILL did way too much pressure And was causing me a great deal of pain. 2. The place wasnt clean. the towel used to drape over my back was so used and didnt feel clean. it was a ripped up bed sheet. The room that I was in , was small and not fresh smelling. Country music was blaring in the backgtound instead of soft mediation music. That was not relaxing at all nor did it give a relaxing atmosphere. 3. I explicitly told both asian women that I DID NOT want a full body. JUST my back and arms but the asian massage lady assigned to me went down farther than i wanted her to go. I told her NO! Just my back but she didnt get it. 4. The debit/credit card machine wouldnt take my card even though my debit card wasnt rejected just an hour before this appt. The asian woman told me to use their ATM, that was sitting in their front desk. No way and I using that! I wouldnt recommend this place for anyone wanting a massage. It was painful, embarrassing and not a good experience whatsoever.

I went to casper massage. I have had problems with my hands going numb, especially when I lay down. It became hard to get a good nights sleep . I went to a chiropractor. I did not get any releif, I searched online and found casper massage. Made an appt with Kristiana , I set down with her and explained what the problem was. I know she listened. She worked on the problem areas. And I actually left knowing she listened to what I told her, because I felt better, got a good night's sleep for the first time in weeks. I saw Kristiana for the first time today and hopefully not for the last time! What a treasure! Not only is she a warm and caring soulful person, but also the most accomplished massage therapist I have ever encountered. She understands and continually studies body physiology and mechanics, so can determine what may be causing the pain in order to relieve it. She finds the source of the muscle that may be referring pain elsewhere. Kristiana is amazing and very passionate about her business. I'm a local personal trainer and went to her for the first time recently and she did some very in -depth trigger therapy on my shoulder. 3 times recently I have overworked my body to the point I couldn't sleep due to pain. Drugs from the E.R. didn't help but a 90 min. deep tissue session worked wonders. I had instant relief, and was able to sleep again. Kristiana does a great job listening to you and taking care of your needs.
