Dave has been great in helping me with several projects on my home and rental properties. He has…read moredone sheet-rocking and painting, hung several interior doors (that he helped me pick out at the store), replaced the rotten boards around my chimney (and painted and caulked the finished product so that it looks like new), as well as repaired/waterproofed a bathroom floor that I was having problems with. It is important to me that I invite someone into my home that I know is safe around my wife and children, and Dave passes the test -- he is very honest and worthy of trust. For home improvement projects, I need someone who can identify the critical aspects of the job, write an accurate estimate, and then perform the work in a timely and efficient way. Dave is able to do that consistently, which is why he has earned my business. I highly recommend you give him a chance to bid your project.

A customer of mine fell in his home and had to go to a nursing home for recovery. It was…read morerecommended that he have a stairlift installed before he could return home. Because of COVID, contractors could not visit him with proposals, so he asked me to find a contractor. I called a couple of locations including Handyman Solutions. They were very helpful in explaining how to measure for the stairlift, and their price was $1000 less for the lift I needed. The homeowner approved their proposal. They were booked for about 2 weeks, but they said Matt tried to work in jobs like this into the schedule as soon as possible so people could return home. The following day one of their jobs only took 1/2 the time estimated. They sent Brad out to install my customers stairlift. He did a great job. He showed me how to operate the unit, and offered to come back to show the homeowner if needed. He also did an inspection of the home for fall hazards, and potential devices to help the homeowner. Matt followed up with me a few days later to make sure everything was satisfactory. I could not be more impressed with the service and professionalism of Handyman Solutions. I will use and refer them in the future. Doug Eidem Doug's Chem-Dry Carpet Care & Delta Restoration Services of Mid MIssouri

Do not hire this company! Dealing with them has been my families worst nightmare. We hired them to…read morere-build the old staircase in our home. That was almost 2 months ago. We have been left with a giant hole upstairs without a railing. So a cliff for our dogs and child to walk around. No temporary railing. No safety precautions. The staircase is usable (thanks to my husband's handyman skills). We had to order the stair treads ourselves because they forgot. My husband and I ended up staining the treads and painting the risers ourselves to hopefully get the project done. They contracted out for the railing. That company will not get back to us, but now the contactor with Bax said it's basically our problem now. So a project that was quoted to take a week, has now taken a couple months...still isn't completed. Might be three months. Our son is having surgery Monday, and this is the disaster we have to bring him home to. You really don't understand the value of a safe staircase until you no longer have one. Their employees had verbal arguments in front of us. Left angry with each other. The unprofesionalism has been jaw dropping. Bax, if you dispute this review, we have a binder full of pictures, paperwork, and all written interactions. We value honesty and hard work, this company is a prime example of the complete opposite.
