This one operating in Bondi, is one of the better ones I've seen, selling a whole range of surfboards, musical instruments and bikes along with their normal supply of electrical goods, CDs, cameras, hardware and exercise equipment. The prices here aren't dirt cheap, but also aren't as expensive as your boutique vintage/2nd hand stores either that seem to be popping up all over Sydney lately.

I feel worse to think of the profits that they will receive from those who sold their possessions, upon selling them to me. But then I also think that it's a part of life, and people who sell products to them are helped by the cash they recieve. Either way, places such as this become treasure troves of pre-loved goods, where you can buy guitars and other musical bits and bobs, TV's, mobile phones, watches, all that kind of stuff. It's a small, crowded, almost dingy little store on William street, but it does the job. If you're looking for some second hand goods, give them a call with your request, or drop in if you want a scout around for a good deal. I did. And I think I'll come back too. As a pawn shop, its good, just not a huge place. They have a nice range of guitars.
