I've just bought another watch from Karl. Thats number four including my grandfathers Seamaster…read morethat he restored. Karl has Austrian Master Watchmaking qualifications and is as honest as he is expert. Its now over 30 years that I first met him and he is still the pre eminent watchmaker in Sydney. For genuine new and collectable Swiss Watches there is only one place, here.

Being a watch junky with far more Swiss watches than I need but not near as many as I want, I thought of a somewhat obscure brand called NOMOS that is a small hand made, in house movement timepiece manufacturer located in Glashütte, Germany. So doing a little research I discover that the only authorized NOMOS dealer in Australia is this one in Sydney. After getting to Sydney my girlfriend and I go visit this shop which is small and on the 10th floor of a office building downtown. They mostly specialize in high end watch repair and selling some used vintage pieces. But they also feature the full NOMOS line. I was only there to look and check prices but the saving was far too tempting and we ended up getting the classic Bauhaus design his and hers NOMOS Tangente hand winders. The experience was excellent and the woman helping us was very knowledgeable and had us try on anything we liked and ask lots of questions. Truly an enjoyable experience and now we have some memorable souvenirs from the trip. Totally worth a visit if you are into vintage time pieces or the NOMOS brand.

BEWARE - once you paid, the service is done. I wanted to give negative scores but since that's not…read morepossible, I'm being generous to give them a one star. Watches of Switzerland Sydney store is somewhere I will never visit again! We bought an expensive watch thinking it is brand new, opened the bag and found a dent on the side of the case. The dealer would not exchange the watch for us and not only that they told us it is our fault the watch has a dent on the side, it is not their problem to exchange and if we want a new watch or any kind of resolution we need to go ask the manufacturer. If you want no after sales service, bad attitude, sales managers that avoid any kind of responsibility, feel free to visit the store otherwise stay away! If you insist to buy a watch from there I recommend you take a professional watch technician and a lawyer.

They have 28 brands to choose from and are the only store in Sydney where you can find Ebel Swiss watches. Their brands include Bulgari, Cartier, TAG Heuer, and Omega. If you're looking for a great watch, it is highly recommended that you visit this one-of-a-kind store.

The store is…read moreconveniently located on Castlereagh street and offers one of the finest experiences for buying a watch. The store convinces you it is worth paying the price. They have built a beautiful retail store to match the quality and stature of the brands they are selling. Their window display is very attractive and inviting. They don't just sell any watch, they sell only the top-most, highly desired, price doesn't matter watches. Like Rolex and Panerai and Patek Philippe watches. I was pleasantly surprised to find they also sell pre-loved watches. The luxury boutique offers customer service unparalleled in the industry. The assistants are courteous, pleasant and friendly. They have an immense knowledge about the different brands and can explain what makes a watch a Grand Complication. There is a sense of understated elegance just like the brands they sell. Enter the store at your own risk as you may well decide to forgo the downpayment on your home for a little luxury on your wrist. As for me, with a little y(h)elp, I maybe able to buy my dream watch quicker.

Absolutely horrible service (some staff) , was nothing but racist towards us, as I went there with some of my family visiting who doesn't speak much English. They refused to admit the deal we negotiated earlier and called it our fault for not understanding English. Left there with tears in my eyes, I have never been treated with such a horrible manner, not even in less expensive places, leave alone a boutique that we were about to spend 50 grand at.

While the security is understandable given the brand, it does slow down the overall experience. Not ideal if you're short on time. After waiting for 10 minutes to get into the store, we waited another 10 before we gave up. I can buy tax free in Portland instead of buying in Sydney and dealing with VAT.

They definitely have an inventory that doesn't disappoint…read more When I first arrived there was only one couple wrapping up a purchase so I received very good service. Lily was very helpful and treated me like a serious buyer despite my chipped nail and a bikini top under a see through white shirt, which I appreciated and needed. I also had my Cartier Love bracelet polished while I waited. After finally deciding to make a purchase the place got packed with customers and my purchase got put on the back-burner. Finally after 30 minutes we were able to get some attention and see the final piece in the box to seal the deal! The purchase did not come with any celebratory or complimentary glass of champagne, but some water, which I was surprised considering the purchase. Also, the lady that helped us in the end (not Lily) spent more time counting the money than closing the sale. All in all, I won and I was happy this store at least had the inventory! I was also happy that the purchase price can also be claimed at the airport, receiving a tax deductible and avoiding waiting for purchasing the product at the duty free airport.
