This is a terrible bank policy, and every bank doing it for personal checks should be reprimanded. People need to start standing up for themselves, not letting the banks rule us with our money. A bank is suppose to guarantee their customer's money in their holdings against the checks they write, not exploit who they write them too. I only give them 2 stars for being pleasant while at the counter while taking advantage of me.

I was doing some research and was looking at different banks here in the area. I noticed there was a bunch of branches everywhere I was driving in the Bryan/College Station area. I just wanted a simple free checkings account. I wasn't worried about maintenance and anything fancy. I'm old school, just write simple checks to pay some bills and move on with life lol. Anyways, I was with Sabrina who had her own office. She was very patient with me and my 100 questions that I had for her lol. I haven't opened up a bank account in over 20yrs. I was in a bit of a rush because of outside appointments and errands that I had to run before I started work. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. She gave me different options and made it understandable. They have branches all over. My next step is to secure a safe deposit box at one of their branches. Mahalo Sabrina

The service at my branch is a joke, they had no banker in house for almost a year. After a while, the answer was always...."there is nothing better than you already have". It has come to the point where I am a senior citizen, I drive less than 50 miles a day, no tickets in over a decade, no DUI EVER, no at fault accidents in over 25 years a single filing for a broken windshield THIS CENTURY. YET...the best rate that can be found is near $1000 every 6 months (and it was ME that found IT). I was very impressed with Liere in my first few years but they became complacent and were just fine with spending my money as the insurance companies TOLD THEM. You might try them for a year or two but be prepared to move on after that unless you want to be at the mercy of the insurance Czars.

The whole process of dropping off my car at Caliber, enterprise coming to pick me up and me driving out of the lot back home was 45 min. Not to mention I don't pay a crap ton for insurance. Incredibly thankful to have the best customer service I have ever experienced. I will be giving you guys my money forever! Lol
