I'm not one to cash a check often because I have direct deposit but occasionally I get bonus checks…read moreor an extra check and decided to try this place. It was one of the first check cashing places that said it was open till 6pm on a weekday. I called them to make sure they would be open they said they would be until 6pm. I got there at 5:30 and they were closed with no one in sight. I thought it was a coincidence so I tried again to. Their weekend hours posted reflect closing time at 4:00pm. I got there at 3:50pm they were closed and door locked. The worker had actually walked out 1 minute before I parked. He was sitting in his car and I let my window to ask him why they closed early and he put up the index finger to indicate "one sec" needless to say he never let the window down. I've given multiple chances for this company to honor their hours posted and they have failed both times. I personally wouldn't recommend their services to anyone.

I probably used it no more than a half dozen times over two years. Let's start with the location: It's REALLY inconveniently located if you actually live in town. It's easy to get to, hard to leave. Turning left from Plaza onto Division can be nigh impossible at certain times of day. Your only other option is going through Logan. This is one of the reasons I avoided going in as much as possible. When I signed up for the bank, I tried to make it clear that I was really just going to park some money in there so I could cash checks and get some cash on rare occasions. I didn't want an account that would cost me money. A few months later I finally noticed a monthly charge on my account. I went back in there and it took nearly an hour to change me over to a free account. When I closed my account, it was a "training experience" and, again, took forever. Don't get me wrong. The people there are rather nice about things. Just slow. Not a place for quick service. And you'll never have to worry about lines. No one is in there. I'm not sure I've ever seen more than two customers in there at the same time.
