Today, I contacted MAC to get info about % rates & before calling I noticed some of the negative reviews that have been given & was pretty surprised by them. I have never been treated rudely by anyone at this company, but like I said that was awhile back when I was a customer (even requested to use them when purchasing my last car @ major dealership; but could not) & I am sorry to the folks that have had negative interactions. I just wanted to say that I felt I should give this review today because we are always willing to give negative feedback, but don't always take the time to give positive feedback...with that being said: 'Jason Cook' was the one who answered my call & he was very professional, polite, & helpful. He answered my questions thoroughly & even gave me some very good advice on what i was calling about. YELP advertised a service that MAC does not even provide & instead of just saying "No we don't do that." he took the time to give good sound advice on a better route to take than what I was asking about. So, i just want to say; "THANKS for your help & advice Jason, I appreciate it. Your advice was very helpful to me!!!" *I hope I got the correct name, I thought he said Jason when he answered, & I got Cook from the employee listing. (???)*

He went inside to try to resolve it, and was told he'd have to do another withdrawal. He was also told that the extra withdrawal situation would be handled in about 2 days, and that the funds he did not receive would be returned to our account. That was more than a week ago. We still have two debits to our account, and no deposit for the extra withdrawal. He went back into the bank today and had to file yet another claim, which is being "elevated." This is inexcusable - we should have been credited IMMEDIATELY. So disappointed with the lack of response and the ineptitude of US Bank! If they can't fix their own mistakes in a timely manner, I feel less than confident about their ability to manage our money.

I provided pay stubs, ID, everything they asked for except that I did not have 5 references. After wracking my brain, I came up with 5 people, but since 3 of them were former co-workers with the same number, it was inadmissible. The most help I got from them was "we have a phone book," but it wasn't even a white pages (a tiny one for Jeff county, but nothing for STL, where all my family is). At no point were any other options suggested, and I felt like they didn't really care. I understand working jobs where people are ignorant to you, and how it can harden you.
