Today, we stopped at the Yankton location with our junior high basketball team to get snacks for the ride home. As we approached the register, I paid for my drinks and proceeded to ask the cashier if it would be possible to split a $20 bill so we could distribute to 4 of our 9 players, who were patiently waiting in line to pay for their items.
The cashier, an older man, rudely told us he couldn't help us since it would make them short on change and asked the customers after us to step up to the register. We tried to explain to him that the money is going to be given right back to him and he completely ignored us.

Going forward, I am hopeful no one else with our skin tone will have to experience this type of arrogant behavior. read more
