Any visit to Washington is only complete if we make at stop at Bobe's. It's my hometown, and of…read morecourse everyone has a 'hometown favorite' but in the case of Bobe's I'm not sure I know a single person from Washington who doesn't go there when visiting! As usual, we ordered the Farouk (supreme) for our dine-in experience. It was perfect as usual. The restaurant was crowded, but no real wait for a seat or the food. In addition to our pizza, we ordered several 'half baked' pizzas to take home for the deep freeze. This is a tradition, and usually lasts us a few months. If you haven't tried this, just order when you place your dine-in order and tell them you'll want to take howevermany half-baked home with you. They'll have them waiting. Take them home, head them up and you're enjoying Bobe's from wherever you call home now. Since my parents left and we no longer have any family in Washington, we basically make the drive just for the pizza and take-home. If you're in town, it's #1 on your list for great food. Keep in mind they don't open until 4:00PM so time your visits accordingly! Best pizza in Indiana.

I called back an hour later to check on the status of the pizza. I had a little one falling asleep and didn't want to wake her by a loud delivery drive. They said they didn't have a delivery driver and was voided out, except I was charged for this alleged pizza on my online banking account. They also told me my phone number and email wasn't real basically (dumb *****). They say wait for it to reappear in my bank account and call back if it doesn't. I call back 2 other times in my free time to no success. I'm told to go to my bank and there's n they can do on their end. I think this is the absolute worst service I have ever had. I will never order again.

I explained that there was oversized pieces of pepper and onion that would prevent the pizza from being cooked properly. She did remake the pizza, but ommited the black olives and mushrooms . I feel there is no point in contacting the store again as the management was combative on the phone and insulting. The replacement was even still undercooked.. There needs to be a serious retraining on customer service with the management at this location. The driver was as sweet as can be and had wonderful customer service skills. Its really sad a bad manager will lose business when the staff is working so hard.

Second phone call, different & friendly person answers & tells us they do, in fact, deliver to us. Order placed & received in a timely manner, but also somehow both burnt & cold. Very frustrating after exhausting day of packing to move- too tired to call the store & do anything about it, as it's likely a fruitless effort. Ironically, we had the exact opposite experience 2 weeks ago. Person on the phone was helpful, courteous, efficient. Food arrived quickly & was very good. Hopefully our new state/neighborhood doesn't have the same service.
