Located on Seminary Street, cute shops surround and on street parking available. Unassuming from the outside and purely historic, refurbished, recycled everything inside. Jazz and classic rock was playing on a record player. Staff was lovely and helpful with questions. Order at the counter and take a seat. Glasses are chilled, no ice. Canned sodas, water, alcoholic beverages available. Pizza has 4 sizes, specials and make your own. Sandwiches, salads. I chose the goat cheese and herb pizza and it was sooooo good. Chewy yet crunchy, the crust is perfection. Takes 20-30 minutes when not just. Worth the wait. Will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Both employees working were so kind and helpful. The sandwich was delicious! And liked the kindness showed when the employee that checked me out got me more napkins upon my request and offered to grab the door for me on the way out. While the food speaks for itself (so good and a fantastic price for a healthy lunch!), politeness goes a long way! Highly recommend!

This pizza is phenomenal. Maybe the thinnest and great tasting crust you can find. So so good. Great sauce, and cheese. They don't skimp on the toppings like a lot of other places! Service was great, and food came fast even for a very busy time that we were there. Cool building with an open kitchen where you can see them slinging the pizzas! A must if you are in Galesburg!

I was disappointed that you can't order anything but sandwiches at lunch, I really wanted the burnt ends! I would have also liked to have the possibility of sliced brisket, rather than shredded. One last thing, it would be nice if there was a smoked sausage available. So, overall not a bad meal, but hopefully there will be improvements to the service time (and probably more staff) so that the current staff doesn't have to be so frazzled. Give it a try for yourself!

Every time we have gone to Budde's Pizza, we have had extremely slow service. There have been many times that we have gone in, and it would take 10 to 15 minutes to be acknowledged because the servers are too "busy" on their cell phone or talking and hugging other customers. We've overlooked that because we loved their pizza. However, today I have had enough because not only was the order slow, the pizza didn't even taste good because the order was screwed up. Instead of even making it right, the owner Diane was beyond rude. When Heather ordered the taco pizza and said we wanted pizza sauce because we didn't want beans, she told her that the taco pizza doesn't have beans so she ordered it normal. We get home after waiting 10 minutes in line to even be acknowledged because she was too busy just hanging out and leaning on the bar and hugging another customer, we find beans on the pizza nor did I get the hot honey sauce that we ordered. When we called her, she started yelling and being rude. Never again. I usually give second chances, but if you want to be rude (putting that mildly) and curse at me, I will support other small businesses.

Food-4 I loved the chicken tenders! Definitely lived up to the name (Krispy and Krunchy!), and the chicken strips were huge and juicy on the inside! The fries were also hot salty and delicious. My other side was the mashed potatoes and gravy. I liked that too but wasn't as impressed with it as I was everything else. Overall-4.5 I would definitely eat here again.
