Loved this experience! Took a small detour on our way home from Nashville, it is definitely of the…read morebeaten track, but the drive was beautiful on the side roads! Sign at the end of the gravel road announced our arrival. Pulled into the lot and we were the only ones there beyond the workers late in the afternoon on a Sunday. Cash only but they have an ATM on site. Visited the brewery room and perused the different beers available on draft, in bottles, and growlers. Ordered a pizza, the green tomato and sausage. And chose a flight of beer, four for $13. Sumac Sour, Fig Porter, Dead Leaves, and Basil Saison. I enjoyed every one of them, but the Dead Leaves was my overall favorite. I decided on that one as my take home growler. I really enjoyed the green tomato sausage pizza, I enjoy a green tomato, not many restaurants have them on their menu in a state other than fried, so I had to get it. The flavors were great; the tartness of the green tomato went well with the sausage. The space is incredible, very rustic and woodsy, the perfect backdrop to the foraged beers. Every space was decked out with funky colors and artwork. I really wish it was closer, definitely a road trip to go back but feel it would be worth it in each of the seasons!

This place is definitely worth the drive to it. The beers are creative & delicious, and they are…read morealways rotating with the seasons. Atmosphere is rustic & rural-- it was great sitting outside next to a campfire.

Ok it's a chain.. It's all about knowing what to expect when it comes to quality. The thing that…read moremakes your franchise memorable are the customer experiences that are provided when you walk in the door. This place sadly really blew it! So we were next door celebrating my grandsons first birthday and I asked if we could bring outside food in? She said we could and recommended Domino's next door. I told her, seems like lost revenue not offering a food option.. And she said all three business's (Ace, Jumpin' Joe's and Domino's) were owned by the same person, so they helped each other. Makes sense. Great option. So I came here. Now I know that Domino's is more about take out and pick up.. Not many come in anymore to actually order. But the unique thing about this Domino's is that it is next door to a kids bounce house gym.. And they allow you to bring outside food. Well that's convenient, right! So here I am... Just finished cake, got a dozen people who are hungry, a couple kids getting tired,.. why not grab some QUICK pizza before everyone leaves so they can be fed before heading home. So I walk in to see 2 employees on their phones, but they quickly put them down and greeted me. They were friendly and smiled. I tried reading the menu boards and I couldn't focus and think fast enough before the electronic board changed.(I hate these boards! I know it's a mandatory franchise change, so not deducting stars for it, but I do really despise them in case corporate wants my opinion) I grab a paper menu and realize I don't have my glasses with me.. So I just made it simple. I asked the cashier what was the best deal. He said two large, two topping pizzas for $9.99 each. Ok fine. I ordered 3 pepperoni & sausage and 1 sausage & bell peppers. $43.55. Happy camper! I mentioned I was at Jumpin'Joe's, and he said they could bring the pizzas over when they were ready. Wow..that's great I thought. So I went back over to the party. 20 minutes past, my son-in-law went over and bought a salad, came back and finished it.. And still no pizza. Everyone in my party was ready to leave. I couldn't understand what was taking so long! So I go over there and no-one is in store. I look around and then another cashier who was helping the third employee (a girl ) before I left came out of the back and I asked where my pizzas were. He said they had messed up and were waiting on another pizza. This just seemed ridiculous to me. I said, everyone is leaving because it's taking so long. I just want a refund! Then he hands me 4 pizzas and said he couldn't do that but he'll bring the other one they messed up over to Jumpin'Joe's when it's ready and not charge us for the one they did mess up. I was just livid! I bring the pizzas over and all but 4 of us are there now and I have 4 pizzas that you can tell were sitting, and nobody to eat them. So everyone that was still there had a few slices and then the guy from Domino's came over and brought us the correct pizza and apologized. I really had nothing more to say. We took home 4 full pizzas. Yea they'll eventually get eaten, but it really was just not ok to let pizzas get cold while fixing a screw up..especially when they could have just brought over the hot pizzas that were right, apologized and brought over the correct one when it was finished. And on top of it all, I forgot the one thing I didn't like about Domino's was that garlic butter they add on crust. It's so salty! Only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the place was clean and the staff was friendly... Just not very bright when it comes to problem solving. I get mistakes happen.. Life is a series of learning experiences. I just hope they learned something valuable from this. I know I did. Go to McDonald's instead.
