Our treatment approach emerges from your unique situation and integrates these methods:
* Chiropractic - strong - but gentle and specific - structural treatment, drop table absorbs force
* Classical Acupuncture - a holistic approach balancing the entire organ system - getting beneath symptoms to directly confront causes and conditions
* Functional Medicine - focus on optimal functioning of the body and its organs, using advanced Blood Analysis which pinpoints imbalances before they become symptoms that can be treated without drugs and prevents serious illness before it occurs.

History
Established in 1987.
Dr. Carter has been practicing Acupuncture since 1987. Always active and interested in movement and dance since childhood, she was drawn to the practice of T'ai Chi--learning and mastering Yang Style T'ai Chi. It was her devotion to this ancient self-healing and martial art that led to her interest in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
Her fascination with science and love of healing later prompted her to study Chiropractic, Naturopathic and Functional Medicine, T'ai Chi and Chi Gong.
Meet the Business Owner: Casey C.
As a child, I loved art, dance, competitive sports, science, and I still love animals. My father was a Navy Pilot and a hero in World War II, and I think he may have inspired me to push myself beyond the limits of an "ordinary life." When I discovered Five Element Acupuncture, I was moved by the way it includes the spiritual dimension of life, which seems missing in most Western medical approaches.
I continue to be moved, humbled, and delighted by the way this spiritual dimension unfolds in the treatment of my patients. Every day I am so grateful to be able to do the work I do, with the people I work with. My patients continually show me how possible it is to move from pain, confusion, fear and limitation into lives full of joy, freedom, health and harmony with life.
I believe in the work I do, my patients' ability to heal and the power of the relationship between practitioner and patient. Accordingly, I only accept new patients when both of us feel we can work together effectively.
