Not impressed. They want to charge you extra for external funds transfers from another bank unless you want to wait 5 days for the transfer to take place. These transfers are done electronically, so there is no good reason to make you wait for a transfer from one bank to another and no reason to charge you for it, as if someone has to physically pick up the cash and take it there. There is no actual cash changing hands, it's digital. My other complaint is that they make you wait 7 days to clear a large paycheck, even if that check is drawn from an account that deposits funds regularly to your account. I received a bonus check from my employer that was larger than the portion of my checks that get direct deposited into my account. I wasn't asking for the cash, I just wanted to deposit it and have it available to me, but they said they had to put a hold on it, even though the check was drawn from the same account as my direst deposits. My employer never bounced a check and there was no reason to make me wait for those funds (even though I wasn't planning on using them right away). I also do not like their website. You can't easily find your actual account numbers if you need to sign up for direct deposit or to pay bills. It's also annoying that every time I sign in, I have to decline some offer and when you click on "do not remind me again" or other options like that, they still pop up every time. I just want to log in and do my business, if I want any extra offers or services, I will inquire about them! Also, in person, they almost NEVER have more than one person working the window/counter at a time and having to 'sign in' and explain all your business to someone BEFORE talking to the person you're supposed to be explaining your business to is annoying. If you need to see someone about a loan or something, you should just be able to sign in and wait, so you don't have to have the same conversation with multiple people. And, that's another thing, if you need to talk to someone about your account or request a loan, there's only ever one person doing THAT as well. I wouldn't recommend Case to anyone. read more

Every branch I went to is not impressed. They don't value customers by providing poor service. Customer service just hung up on me when I was frustrated and wanted to know why the fund that I had them transfer almost a week ago did not get to its final destination. It's not the customer service fault that they could not tell me clearly what happened to my money and when exactly I could get it back, it's because they did not receive the proper information to pass it on to a customer. read more

Terrible tried to close an account because they were charging a $3 fee for paper statement but put 2 months on 1 statement and charged $6 said would get tha back when we closed account but didn't and it took 2 weeks to close account. Would not recommend! read more

I hate going inside this branch. They never have enough staff, if there is a line I have waited for 15 minutes or more while employees chat. Employees walk behind the line and ignore customers. Don't, just don't! This is the worst excuse for customer service I have ever witnessed. I deposited a check from a major financial institution. Even after verifying it they held up the funds for 7 business days. They were informed that this was an emergency as it is January and the check was for furnace replacement. They did not care that this could possibly result in 10 additional days with no heat! Thankfully my heating company installed anyhow and trusted me to pay. Bad business all the way around. read more

I bought a truck and the dealership thought they were doing me a favor by shopping other financing options, which I didn't ask them to do and I was a bit annoyed that they did it, because I knew it would ding my credit with them applying at all those banks for financing (I was already approved by Capital One with no negative effect to my credit). Then they told me they found a better interest rate with Case CU, so since they already did their damage to my credit score, I agreed to let Case finance my truck. Then I was told that Case opened a savings account in my name, because I had to be a member to get the financing AND to get the interest rate I had to sign up for automatic payments. Knowing that, I immediately opened a checking account at Case to have those payments drawn from there and I set my direct deposit at work to deposit half of my payments into the checking account. I paid my first truck payment from my Case checking account, no problem (so I thought). Then I paid my 2nd truck payment the following month and a couple days later, I am looking at my checking account at my primary bank and see that Case has deducted ANOTHER payment from my primary bank and not from my Case account- mind you, I already paid that month's payment, so they shouldn't have deducted anything from anywhere! My beef with Case is that they drew money from my primary bank without ever having permission to draw anything, ever, from that bank. My payments were supposed to be set up through my CASE checking account, not my other bank. Naturally, these types of things ALWAYS happen on weekends, so I had to wait until Monday to reach them. I called and there is never a time when you aren't going to sit on hold for 30-60 minutes, in which time, I was disconnected twice, so when you call back you go back into a queue which always says "you're place in line is....5th"- so after the 2nd disconnect, I drove up there. They can't just click a couple of buttons and fix the problem, I have to sit there and wait for the ONE person there that can do it and after awhile, I find out I had to sign a form and that she isn't in the building, so the problem was supposed to be fixed by the end of the day. Meanwhile, I ask the receptionist why this happened when I had no problem paying last month without getting double dipped on. He told me that I DID get double dipped last month, because paying your payment early doesn't stop the automatic payment from being drawn. Apparently, I didn't notice the past month because it didn't put my account in the negative. I have never paid bills online anywhere that would not stop an automatic payment from being drawn if you already paid that month's bill. It's not like I paid it WAY ahead of time, I paid it 5 days before it was due. The website said my next payment wasn't due until the following month, so WHY wouldn't the idiots who programmed that website make it recognize the payment was already made, like virtually EVERY OTHER website you go to pay bills. Anyway, 2 days later and that payment still hasn't been refunded to my other bank account- it isn't even 'in process' yet. If I knew it was going to take this long, I would have just transferred it back myself- but now I worry that if I do, they will try to send it again- when it is no longer there. I plan to transfer my truck loan to my other bank as soon as I can. Case CU sucks. I haven't even mentioned all the other issues I have had with them, and it's only been a couple of months. The worst! I have been a member for years and the service has dramatically declined over time. Every time I'm in a branch I have a trainee assisting me and it takes a minimum of 25 mins to do simple transactions. I have never went into a branch and been out in under 15 mins. The last teller I got couldn't even count; she had to get the teller next to her to assist with counting my withdrawal. They don't accept appointments, not even for business banking. They are extremely understaffed and management simply does not care. I no longer trust this institution with my funds. Beware. read more

I have had a credit card and 2 car loans with this company for over 3 years. I have paidthe first off and just totaled the secondcar thats on loan. In the process of the insurance making the pay off payment they called threting me to pay or they would charge my credit with a late payment. All mind you ive recieved a sttlement check and could have paid them...the insuranse had already mailed the check for what they were asking for. So if i made a payment it would have changed the payoff amount. All in all it was the banks fault for no interoffice communications! The mortage and loan iffice does not talk to the main branches. So notes are even ignored if rhey put them on your account. Like ask for a pin when calling...which loan always forgets. Also they stopped taking phone payments so if you are out of state you can only make payments in person or other sister credit unions. Which are not always working. Lets just say this is a young unorganized instition that needs a rehaul. We have closed all accounts amd will not be back read more

First of all, let me state that I was put off by all of the loans that this C.U. was offering; I was always thinking, "WTF?!" Then I happened to meet this black dude (Branch manager? CEO? I forget!) and was informed that they had conducted surveys in which their customers had said in said surveys that they would switch financial institutions if vacation loans were NOT offered. Unf---ingbelievable..... But if that's what Case needs to do in order to keep their account-holders happy, then I guess that's what they have to do..... Terrible service, terrible systems, terrible delays in getting anything done. Paid off car loan could not get lein release letter for over 2 months although they continued to take payments from my account even though it was paid off. They blamed COVID for the lack of response and poor systems somehow I believe this is just how they operate. read more
