The parking lot was dirt and small but was able to accommodate all the cars there. The employees were nice and informative. They have two different types of peaches. Red Havens are sweet and Reliance are on the tarter side. It's a smaller farm but there were plenty of trees full of ripe peaches. The peaches were very fragile so it's important to be selective on which ones you pull off the branch. It's $3 per pound and we got a boxful for around $22. We also got a huge zucchini for only .50! I love the idea of farm to table and enjoy supporting local businesses which made Douglas Farms a perfect pit stop while driving through Sauvie Island.

My partner and I went here to get our pumpkins for carving. They are the first pumpkin farm we saw…read moreon Sauvie's, and I think they must know that because there is a $15 fee (per person, NOT per car) to enter the farm. I think that entrance also grants you access to a bunch of other activities (corn maze? Seeing the farm animals?) but we came just for the pumpkins. The pumpkin patch itself was good-- there were lots of varietals and we had fun squelching around with our big carts. Pumpkins were 50% off when we came, and two fairly large orange pumpkins, a ghost pumpkin, and a mini came out to ~$20. That wouldn't be bad for just the pumpkins, but because of the entrance fee it felt a little steep. The highlight of our trip was actually the duck they have in the animal section. He was huge! I had a good laugh at the duck, and it was a lot of fun to watch him waddle around. There a plenty of clean porta potties, lots of parking, and the staff were friendly. That said, I would not recommend this place if you are just looking to pick pumpkins. It was not a bad experience, but you can get better bang for your buck elsewhere.

We randomly decided to go to Topaz Farm one Sunday morning to pick some berries and we were happily…read moresurprised with so many things to do here! My personal favorite was picking cucumbers. I've been to a lot of u-pick farms, but this was the first time I got to pick cucumbers. At the time of the year that we went, they also had u-pick sunflowers, but it was towards the end of the season so we didn't get any. Other than u-pick stuff, they have farm animals and a little train ride which are both so fun for kids (and adults, too!) The train ride costs $5 per person and is worth the cost in my opinion. They also have a restaurant on site as well as a store where you can purchase various produce. I'll definitely be back here!

The selection of firs is enormous, and comes in all sizes. We bought a 7-8ft tree for about $85, which while up there, is a good example of getting what you pay for. It's a healthy, beautiful tree. Staff was very friendly and took a lot of pride in what they do. They bailed the tree and loaded it up while we stepped inside the greenhouse to buy s few ornaments and snacks. I'll be back every year!

Went there earlier (8/4) with my father to get a few veggies and fruits. My father is a senior,…read morewho sometimes struggles to hear. The lady told my father to pick from a certain bush which he misheard. We thought we were at the right bush because I had asked beforehand for my father and I. She continued to come over to us micromanaged us, and told us we exceed the picking limit which she stated was 10lbs but it was actually 20lbs (advertised on her price & details sign) and we were weighing in at 11lbs. So she made us feel like we picked too much grapes, on top of being shunned for not being in the correct spot which we apologized for several times. Because of her demeanor we ended up leaving after because she told us to take our business somewhere else. I thought this was a pretty rude introduction as this was our first time coming. I understand there was a misunderstanding on our part, just wish the circumstances were different and we were treated kinder and humane! Hoping people still go to this establishment for nice produce! Other than the customer service, everything was amazing!
