I went to Harvest for five years in the upper elementary and middle school. I have nothing good to…read moresay. It's a small enough school that they get away with a lot. Some things I was taught at Harvest: Catholics are evil, Jews are evil, any other denomination of Christianity is evil, Obama is evil, peer humiliation is a great form of punishment, and other kids get to take privilege if your family isn't part of the church and theirs is. The teachers would regularly leave class to take phone calls, on a couple occasions the middle school teacher wouldn't even show up to class. Bullying in the middle school is largely ignored. From the friends I knew from Harvest, 3 have dropped out of high school, several smoke pot on a regular basis (not too evil, but worth mentioning if you're the parent of a 10 year old researching schools), one has gone to rehab for meth addiction, and another for an eating disorder. Very few of us retained our religion. The reviews on other sites are largely from teachers at Harvest who happen to have kids that go there. Please take your money and spend it somewhere that will actually benefit your child

The teachers are very detailed in how they approach each child. Furthermore, I very much enjoy how they spend time with the kids to help with homework and other daily tasks. Their security measures are seriously cutting edge; top notch. To sign in and out your child, the doors can only be opened by your fingerprint or personal backup pin. No joke. They really put parents minds at ease by focusing on the well being of our kids. Finally, I very much love how they make sure the kids know how much they mean to Jesus, as this is a faith based place. It's nice after a day at public school for my daughter to have connections to like minded children and teachers who love the Lord.
