Lovely accomodations and pool. Very intimate relaxing setting. You will work and truly learn how to cook the real stuff. Then go freshen up and sit down to a perefect 4 course dinner each night - which you helped make. The wines served are great, tuscan and hosts always very generous. Lunches and breakfasts are perfect. Paola is - well a rock star. Not only will she teach you how to cook; her gregarious larger than life personality makes your tuscan cooking school experience. A couple of months later we have forgotten a few of the techniques but our fond memory of Paola will last a life time! Jodi and Marco read more

I took the course at Casa Ombuto May 31-June 7, 2014. Amazing, incredible, life changing week! WOW! The school is so well organized that everything runs smoothly, and all the staff are so oriented to making sure we were happy. The wonderful food and non-stop wines were better than I expected, as was this whole week. I loved everything about it. So glad I did it. Now that I'm back home I have bought additional items for my kitchen, and am cooking quite differently. There's a long list of friends requesting dinner invitations now! Fascinating, excellent way to learn more about a culture. The accomodations are comfortable and homey, and the care with setting each meal's table noteworthy. I can't rave enough about the patience and deep knowledge of our chef, Paola, who worked so hard to educate us and share the best of Tuscany. If you want to learn to cook better, and have a great time doing it, GO! read more
