This is THE place that covers 5 different needs which parents may have: 1. weekly parent-infant/toddler meetings 2. groups with a max. of 6 toddlers meet w/out parents for 3 hours in the morning or afternoon. This can be booked once/week or up 4,5 times/week on a regular basis. 3. weekly meetings for pre-schoolers (or even during that first difficult year at a Munich Grundschule) 4. individual meetings for guardians and their child(ren) - this suits parents especially with difficult (e.g. ADD) or specially gifted (e.g. Down-Syndrome) children 5. meetings during school vacation (according to the Bavarian school system) The age group of children can range from infant (1y.) up to school child ( What I really like about Frau Schlötter is that she fully concentrates on the child, not on the parents gibbering, babbeling in the background. Initially she will listen very carefully to the parent, but will then take on her own way by finding out the interests and talents of every individual child in a very calm and child-friendly manner. She does not consider her work as offering a playgroup for children, but rather implementing the basics of Montessori education. Every child at its own pace in a harmonious, nonviolent, safe environment. I entrusted my 3 children fearlessly and without a guilty conscience at different stages in their lives. So, I can recommend Frau Schlötter 100% to any other parent who wants their child in good hands - no, in excellent hands! I have never felt as safe and sure leaving my kids with a babysitter or aupair as I have with Frau Schlötter. The children learn how to appreciate going about things quietly, even sitting at the table for their snack-time. Respecting the basic rules of hygiene and safety, Frau Schlötter is able to melt away any stubbornness in your child concerning table manners as well. The children eat off of china and drink from real glass cups. They also learn to use a fork, spoon and knife. There is never any screaming or shouting - Frau Schlötter will give you the confidence in leaving your child with her by her extremely sweet service of confirming via text message onto your cell phone how things are going. Hopefully you will have the chance to meet her in person and have your child visit her Montessori group. Good luck!

Vier Gruppen mit je zwölf Krippenkindern und zusätzlich vier bilinguale Kindergartengruppen mit je 20 bis 25 Kindern erfüllen auf über 1.000 qm die flexiblen Gruppenräume und die drei Außenflächen mit Leben. Raum für zusätzliche Bewegung bieten der Turn- und Mehrzweckraum sowie der nahegelegene Spielplatz. Erholung finden die Krippen- und Kindergartenkinder in eigenen Ruheräumen. Durch seine zentrale Lage ist der Standort mit Kinderkrippe und Kindergarten mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr gut zu erreichen.

You really develop a relationship with Gabi & those working at her Nest over the time. I found from my friend's recommendation to have Gabi as my Hebamme. I was fortunate enough to secure a spot with Gabi for her as my Midwife (that comes to the house after the birth). During my pregnancy I did the prep courses at Gabi's Nest. At first I wasn't so sure if I should not have done them at the hospital, but then they began and I was 100% happy with my decision! The 7 weeks of courses flew by and I really enjoyed each evening where we gained useful information about the birth, pregnancy, breast feeding and much more 'Gabi' experience & knowledge. Then, after being 100% satisfied pre-birth with Gabi & the service I received, I was astonished how I was even more satisfied, couldn't-say-enough-good-things, about the 'Wochenbett' care I received!!! Gabi is fabulous! She genuinely loves her job and loves supporting her new mothers!!! She's not always punctual & she can really get deep in conversation and forget the time. She is one of a kind. Then, as my Wochenbett was ending I realized how wonderful it is that Gabi's Nest offers massages & other pampering services!' It's so great to be able, as a new mother, to get an hour massage and bring your baby with you! You are truly able to relax knowing that qualified, trust worthy babysitter have your baby in the room next door. Plus, since it's all at the same place you save time in getting to your appointment. Hilda does a really great massage too! I haven't tried the other services yet, but there are many ways to be pampered in the future. If you're flexible and are looking for someone to really care about how your doing & support you in your first months home with your new baby, then Gabi's the one. If you'd rather punctual and predictable planning, then for a Hebamme, you should look elsewhere. Regardless, for support with babysitting or treating yourself to a massage or spa service after the birth, I will recommend Gabi's Nest to all my friends!
