Borderline Holidays
Borderline Holidays is a RIP OFF. Simply put, promised…read moreservices were not delivered. They treated us as an imposition. They promised to take us to the "Grand Sites" of the Pyrenees (of which there are many), but only took us to sites (none of them "Grand") that were convenient for them when they did not have other things to do. They not only wasted our money, but much worse, they wasted our valuable time. Borderline Holidays is operated by Peter Derbyshire and Jude Lock. If you value your time, money, and vacation experience steer clear of them.

This park is simply beautiful. We had friends visiting from out of town and encouraged us to go…read morehere. So glad that they did! There was an early snow this past week with the cold snap that we had and there was plenty of snow on the ground and mountaintops. For 40€ you can take the two funiculars to the top of one mountain, where there is an expansive observation deck, movie presentation, and a couple of cafes. Although pricey, it is clear that there is a limited number of people who can make their way to the top based on the size of the funiculars, and the frequency in which they run (about every 15 mins except between 12:40 and 2:00 pm for lunch). From the observation deck, there are fantastic panoramic views. It appears that this is a ski town later in the season but admittedly, it is delightful in the off season.
