We tried this place for a quick (and cheap) meal, which was advertised at £4.99 for pizza and other hot dishes, and £5.99 including the salad bar. In the early nineties, I lived out of such places when I was working very long hours and needed something quick to eat on the way home that wasn't a take-away. The salad was OK, and seemed reasonably fresh, if rather short on dressings, although there were a couple of choices of fruit (which could also serve as dessert if you were so minded). The pizzas looked nice, and tasted OK, just - reasonably generous toppings, but heavy on the tomato puree, rather than proper pizza sauce, and they were a bit chewy. They also provided chips, and plenty of other diners seemed to go for the pizza and chips option. In short, you get what you pay for. There were a fair number of families there, for whom the pizza option seemed a popular alternative to other take-away meals. No-one seemed to be ordering off the menu. The restaurant was let down by the uncleanliness of the gents' toilets, and no-one had bothered to clean the floor around the food area itself, which was covered in dirty footmarks. There seemed plenty of staff around who could have done this, so presumably they either didn't notice or weren't bothered. If you are into this sort of buffet meal, there are alternative options nearby, with a couple of Indian equivalents. read more

This isn't the best option around, either for cheap pizza or an all you can eat fill up. The pizza bases are thicky, doughy and poorly seasoned, and the pasta overcooked. I would head to Pinnochios or similar if you just want cheap Italian, or as Tasha S suggests, Bombay Aloo is round the corner and offers much better value for money. All that said, it is extremely cheap - so must win some points just for that - but I'm convinced that even at these prices you (and their cooks ) could do better. read more

Visited here both times I have been to Brighton. Its pretty good for stopping in and eating until it hurts for not very much money! I'm usually here on business and so spend plenty of time eating alone, this place suits me as its cheap and close to my hotel. The food is pretty good, there was 3 or 4 choices of pizza, all were tasty. There was a larger salad cart with a good selection on and there was pasta available too which was also good. I will certainly visit here again as for me its good value but I can see the points raised by other reviewers and I would not recommend it for nice meal out with a partner or for a special event. But for quick, cheap food, its pretty good. read more

This place is worse than Olive Garden's or Pizza Hut. In fact, Pizza Hut makes better pasta than this place. Service: Bad. Plates do not get taken away & you have to reuse your plates...unless they do actually take away your used plates, but when we went they were too lazy even though there were only 12 patrons. Prices: Good. Food: Bad. I personally can't stand fluffy pizza dough because it's not authentic Italian pizza to me, it just reminds me of really poorly made American pizza. Too filling, too doughy, takes away from the actual toppings. The point of pizza to have a great enough balance between the dough & the toppings that they compliment each other, not overwhelm one another. All You Can Eat Bar for 7 pounds: Bad. Sad salad bar with 3 fruit options: canned pineapples, honeydew, & oranges. One type of penne pasta with tomato sauce & chicken. 3 or 4 different types of pizza from Hawaiian, Pepperoni, Mushrooms & random stuff, etc. Wine they offer is awful. Environment: Large space with lots of seating. Dude, just don't do it. Keep walking & find another place to eat. read more

An Italian all you can eat is a stroke of genius. Casa Della Pizza couldn't be more central in the middle of North Street so its close to the North Laines and Churchill Square. i often find myself in there after attempting a hungover shopping session, when 'the hunger' sets in and I retreat to Casa for some stodge! Its mega cheap and you can get pizza and pasta for £3.99! Obviously its not the host romantic or coolest hang out but its clean and the service is quick so what more could you ask for in a all you can eat? read more

As far as buffets are concerned, this one is really good. It is only Italian not multicuisine. Multicuisine is usually bad unless it is a really big buffet restaurant. They make very decent pizzas. You can eat as much as you want! I would recommend improving the pasta section. But that's the only noticeable flaw in the menu. read more

I've fed myself up here a fair few times now, and whilst I'd never get excited about coming here or plan an afternoon out at Casa Della Pizza, I can tell you its a great value way to fill yourself up with decent food. Casa Della Pizza isn't trying to be too trendy or classy, its just offering you some (admittedly doughy) all you can eat pizza at a great price. Its not delicious, but its certainly wholesome and filling, with enough different flavours to keep you interested. I normally eat all the crust of my pizza (like a good boy) but even I struggled to do that here... So I'd hate to see what some people leave on their plates... read more

As far as the buffet goes, the salad bar is excellent value for money but the pizza is not anything to write home about unless you like really thick bready crusts with very skimpy toppings. read more

One of Brighton's many All-You-Can-Eat buffets, for £5.99 you can gorge on as much pizza, pasta and salad as you like, 7 days a week from 11am right through to 10pm. The buffet's strategically placed in the window, enticing hungry passersby to join the feast. The only problem, (and this is a problem with most buffets), is if it's not busy the food ends up sitting on the hot plate and can be quite sweaty once you slap your chops round it. This place is okay, but if you're an all-you-can-eat fan there's better. Try the veggie Indian on the same road for one step up, or Foodillic on North Street too for a bajillion steps up. If you're still wanting the Italian thing (if thick bread-like tastless pizza can really be called Italian) then get to Cafe Laziz in the North Laine which does a similarly basic all-you-can-eat offering (pizza toppings kinda all taste the same, but there's chicken wings, garlic bread and salad too) for only £3.50, instead of Casa Della's £5.99. Casa Della Pizza certainly does fill a hole on a budget, but there's just better in Brighton! read more

I came across this place when on holiday in the area a few months ago. Whenever I visit this area I always visit Cassa Della Pizza as its very good value for money, and there is no where else in Brighton you can eat for this price and leave feeling full for the day. This has to be the best value for money in Brighton. Two of you can eat to bursting and have drinks for under £20. The food is freshly made: pizza, pasta, lovely salads and tempting puddings. Service is excellent, young vibrant staff with a sense of humour and the guys that run it are friendly and helpful. I have eaten in this restaurant many times and never had a bad meal and that's amazing when you think that you eat there for around £10 a head with drinks and perhaps £5 a head more if you have a pudding. I would - and do - recommend friends to go there so confident am I that they will eat well and eat cheaply. Take no notice of others that criticise the quality of food, because this is NOT Pizza Hut where pizza costs a lot more. Casa Della Pizza is not the best in town but it is the best value when you balance quality and price. Friendly. Delicious. Good value. Well done guys. read more

please visit this buffet. if u av the buffet u get to pay £2.50 for most desserts. service is lovely. i recommend the salad. sumtimes the pasta is so so. i still rate this place tho. suitable for everyone n very safe n neutral if a solo diner. read more
