After we checked off all the sites on our itinerary she mentioned a the shop. She could see the pastry case from the bus. "It looked really good." We were across town. I told her, "fine, but this place better we worth the trek!" It looked very fancy/expensive. (Sorry no pictures of the place). When each ordered a couple of confections, a pastry and a hot chocolate. Nothing was priced. We ordered blindly. We had had a hot chocolate the day before at place by the arena. We figured this place, since it was more elegant, would obviously be more expensive. We received our hot chocolates, which had the consistency of a warm, rich pudding - delicious! Our pastries were very good and filling. I walked up to the counter to pay our bill, dreading the surely high price given the quality and atmosphere. The cashier told me it was 8.20€. I had to ask her to repeat herself because I couldn't believe it! All of the delicious pastries and exceptional hot chocolates for less than 10€?! This place was a bargain!
