First off, I love that this place's website is there solely for reservations, with no other information or photos, and that the menu you get at the restaurant is only in Spanish. It's so rare to find a place not catering to tourists!
For wines, they have lots of reasonably priced bottles but also around 10 wines by the glass. In the end, our grenache and rioja were only €5.50 each.
This was our 3rd meal in a short span, so we went lighter on the food. They even split the dishes for us, which was a nice touch.
- False lasanña de txangurro: like the "easy lasagna" you see on instagram with the filling in the pan and wonton sheets on top, but this filling was just a generous amount of crab, wihch was great
- Tortilla vaga: a signature dish - the "lazy tortilla." Instead of finely cut potatoes, it uses tortilla chips, which add texture, and the Iberican blood sausage on top is surprisingly good (coming from someone who does not eat blood sausage). The peperoncini were a nice touch to cut the richness
- Suquet de rape: a monkfish stew, split into two portions for us. This was flavorful but not too heavy
We were quite full by the end, so we didn't have room for dessert, but Sacha was exactly what we had hoped for - a non touristy institution with some classic dishes.
Like I said, it can be hard to get a table, so plan ahead!
