The Cajon del Maipo/Embalse el Yeso tour to see the dam and views of the Andes is NOT worth your whole day. Very basic, limited views of the Andes for such a long day of travel. The saving grace of this trip was my tour guide Daniel Schatz, he was amazing. Very informative, and his English was amazing! He made the trip bearable. Thank you Daniel! Five stars!

(I didn't want to take up an hour of his time to answer the 3 or 4 questions I had). He gave me an estimate to get me and my wife a Rentista Visa and it was very reasonable. He answered all of my questions and even went so far as to give me a list of things I needed to do in order to achieve our goal. I didn't use his other services since we are retired and have no kids and I have a friend in Santiago that found us a flat to rent. I will hire him to help with taxes and finding my wife a job when the time comes. (My wife gets bored and is a work-a-holic so she insists on finding a job even though we are very comfortable) I am also considering building a house and if she agrees we will definitely have Jeremie help with that.
