Occurring on Tuesdays and Saturdays, this open air flea market or, "thieve's market" (the literal translation), stretches from the bottom of one hill to the top, both sides of the street, with what's easily over a hundred vendors. I'd heard that bargaining isn't welcomed here and didn't try but even though I loved looking at everything, only a couple of things interested me enough to inquire about price.
In the end, I tired of looking at everything before I ran out of everything to be looked at, but didn't come away empty-handed. A small art print was my prized-possession as well as a belief that everyone serious about vintage finds should make time for this during time spent in Lisbon.
