It Is just a 5 min walk to the better beaches in town (quiet, less tourists and hype). Greg and Yadi were kind and helpful, but gave us privacy. The sunsets were magnificent! We also loved Jakal, a small, no frills restaurant that is super close to Casitas Sayulita! Great spot, we highly recommend the penthouse unit to any couple wanting privacy, quiet and romance!

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner who gave us a full tour of the property, maps, and food recommendations. The property was beautiful not to mention the pool and AC was a lifesaver in the warm month of August. The location couldn't have been better either: beach two blocks away, main hub (maybe) three blocks away, and a convenience store across the street. The on-site parking was wonderful since we rented a car. It made us feel secure even though our street was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. We were able to borrow beach chairs, hats, and umbrellas which was extremely helpful. Last but not least the breakfast was extremely yummy and fresh! Having breakfast on the property made it so easy for us to get up and go. We will definitely be back and will recommend to all our friends!

The best part about the walk is that you can dip in and out of a number of beaches along the way. We had planned to walk down to one of the multiple beaches within a 5 minute walk of the property on our second day but stopped at the pool and ended up staying there for the day because of how beautiful the ambiance was with views to match. During the remainder of our stay, we bounced around between the pool, the town and the basically private beaches just down from the property that we'd hang out at for sunset and most of the time, literally have the beach to ourselves for hours! We were lucky enough to stay in 2 different rooms during our stay by choice and each were incredible. Steve and Terri are wonderful hosts and the breakfasts are magnificent! Self-serve honor system bar was definitely a plus for convenience. Terri also helped out with setting up our travel to and from the airport both ways making the trip very carefree... just what we were looking for! Can't wait to go back!!!

We happened to be the only people staying at the Bed & Breakfast so it made it quite a unique experience! We flew into PVR & rented a Honda CRV through Gecko, at the recommendation of Terri. I mention the CRV, because the house is in the jungle. You do feel like Indiana Jones driving through the jungle, looking for landmarks & finding the Hacienda. The Hacienda is just a short walk from a private lovely beach. The day we spent there - we were the ONLY people we saw for 8 hours. It was paradise. Teri cooks delicious breakfast each morning. And they were different every day! The pool is lovely & next to the pool is an honor bar. Steve will teach you how to make an excellent margarita & then from there you are on your own. It's a fully stocked bar and you just keep a tally of whatever drinks you make yourself. There was a TV & a DVR player in our room. There is WiFi but there is no cable. They do have a collection of DVDs you can choose from, or you can stream things on your computer -- but there is so much to do outside, why would you need TV? :) We'd absolutely recommend this place to our family & friends, and stay here again! Two things you will want to know that are a little unexpected, but by no means a negative, -- 1.) they do have rescue dogs on their property. These dogs are wonderful, friendly, and the majority of the time stick to themselves. We engaged them quite a bit because we love dogs. So they, Garbot in particular, would sometimes hang out with us when we were on the patio & in the pool. We loved it! 2.) the Sayulita downtown Plaza is not easily walkable. It is about 2 miles & would be through a hilly jungle if you walked. Sayulita has taxis if you wanted to spend time in the downtown. We rented a car because we enjoy having autonomy about where to go. Just a little post-script, Steve gives excellent recommendations about places to go if you want to explore more than Sayulita. My boyfriend & I even fit in a mini Mexico roadtrip!

The staff has changed since 2018 but they're always so friendly and accommodating. I first came when I was single and only came to party. Now I'm married and with a 1 year old and they even had a super cozy pack n play that they insisted on putting together. Blankets and all for my baby. I love this place and the people who make it!! Looking forward to many more stays here. I hope this hotel thrives as it's a hidden gem in Sayulita!

It is modern and stylish, and immaculately maintained.  Located in the romantic zone, An easy (no stairs) walk to the gay beach clubs, and a only a few blocks away from the heart of the gay nightlife area, yet it is secluded and quiet. The owners, Ronnie and David, live next door, and provide extensive concierge services, from dinner and tour recommendations and reservations, and detailed faqs about transportation, money exchange, clubs, spas, and general tips on how to navigate the scene in PV.  And they make note of other lgbtq+ owned and operated establishments, so one can make deliberate choices should you prefer to support the lgbtq+ community.  The pool and hot tub in the center of the property make for an easy and friendly way to meet other guests staying at the hotel. And their Saturday evening private pool party is not to be missed.  I'm already making plans for a return visit.

The property is magical, with hidden staircases and little private spots to have coffee or read a book. The landscaping is beautiful. There is a well-stocked communal kitchen as well as smaller but highly functioning kitchens in some of the rooms. More than a few great patios where having a meal is a delight - perfect views everywhere. The pool area is solid with plenty of chairs and shade. The beach is right over the sea wall and the crashing waves sound amazing. Each room is unique and pictures are hard to capture the thought and care that went into making each one special. Completely walkable along the beach (it is rocky in places so wear shoes) but your hosts can help you get a taxi anywhere you want to go. Take a short ride to Sayulita - amazing. La Cruz has a Sunday artisan/farmers market that is way better than I expected. I had to cram things into an additional bag to get everything home. I'm planning my next trip back! It's all I've dreamt about for the past two days.

We chose the breakfast option, and every morning at 9:00 Eric prepared a unique meal. Every day was a different treat. Every morning was delicious. The workers that couldn't go home were housed. The guests, like me, that were checking out were allowed to book another night, even though they were in a sold out status. The hotel mgmt took care of all of us in such a beautifully kind manner which allowed us to find some safety while the town was burning due to the car fires. The property is right on beach, has a family pool and adult swim area with hot tubs in both areas. We booked a hotel room that had a small pool access from the patio. They have 2 swim up bars, a children's play area, spa and an excellent workout room. I was told they will be renovating the hotel this summer 2026, which is needed in some areas, such as the spa. It was a very enjoyable visit other than the cartel action and I would stay here again if I come back to Puerto Vallarta.

It is surprisingly quiet for being in the heart of the city and everything is crisp and clean. The bathroom in the room was huge, and there was great A/C. With the jungle-like pool area and the upper terrace you could really spend a lot of time inside, which is dangerous if you plan to see a lot of the city! We didn't swim in the pool but it was very clean. The receptionists were very helpful and kind, and the continental breakfast was a nice perk. We would absolutely stay here again!

This is our 2nd visit here, and we're feeling right at home in downtown Sayulita. It's located 1/2 block from the beach, with many good taco stands nearby for ultimate foodventuring.
