The sangria (our only sangria in our whole trip to Spain because 'I'm no tourist") was great. But honestly it was the service and hospitality we received that made the biggest impression. Rudy and his family were so kind and fun. It made our whole trip to Valencia worth it. Go here. The food is SO FREAKING delicious and the friendship was valuable!

This is a great place to enjoy a traditional paella. The location might be far (if you don't have a…read morecar) but is worth it. It is surrounded by rice fields and the restaurant itself is very welcoming. The staff is kind and last but not least the food is really good. We had a vegetarian paella for two (could easily be for 3 because we ended so so full afterwards) for 18€ which I find reasonably considering the quality and quantity. VERY IMPORTANT: if you want a paella you better call for reservation so they can prepare the dish in "advance", once you get there it will be the ready in 30min because they put it in the firewood to finish it

Contrary to what I had read previously, I thought the sangria was delicious. My companion thought the pork was delicious and enjoyed the sauce. He did not like the vegetable side. The menu was really colorful and easy to read, though it was confusing to differentiate between the breakfast and lunch menu sections. The mussels were delicious. The sauce was great. Special call out to the creative plating and interesting plate designs that were provided. Many meals were served visually interesting wooden bowls or plates with bark adorning the sides.
