My friend from Madrid took me to this restaurant in Toledo and I definitely would not have found it by myself. The store front looks tiny but it opens to a huge restaurant with plenty of seating int the back. The menu was in Spanish so my friend ordered us the Spanish tortillas, croquettes with Iberian ham, and mushrooms with poached egg and potato cream to share. The staff split all the dishes into two for us to share, which made it really convenient! The free bread here is also the most amazing that I have had - crisp on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Every dish we ordered was phenomenal - the Spanish tortillas were just runny enough on the inside and melt in your mouth, the croquettes had a thin, delicate breading and super soft bechamel on the inside, and the mushrooms and egg were fragrant and flavorful.
Highly, highly recommend for anyone looking for good quality, authentic, Spanish delights (my Spanish friend highly approves!) read more
