I just had the worst experience I have ever had getting my nails done. The technician couldn't get…read morethe old shellac off of my nails and she ground them so thin with the drummel tool, that they almost hurt. She told me over and over that she couldn't get it off; she said she was nervous; and she made a mess of my nails. Once she got most of the shellac off, she began to shape them without asking me my preference. They are all different shapes and much more pointy then I have ever had them. (I always have them not too long and very square tipped.) I did not trust that there was any way this person could do an even half-way decent job of fixing the mess she'd made of my nails so I left. Essentially, I paid $8 to have my nails ruined.

Once I got in the chair, it seemed like she didn't know how to cut hair. She just touched it and examined the strands of hair piece by piece. It was very strange - it seemed like Gosaha had never seen hair before in her life. She took forever to get started and forever to finish the trim and I thought thank God I can get the F out of here but no...she had the nerve to walk away without saying a word with my damp hair starting to air-dry into a friz. I assumed she was going to get product but she started another customer. At this point it was nearly two hours and and I had to take a piss and get my day going. I almost wish I would have ripped the bib off and left but I sat there like a fool waiting. My day was wasted and the cut was nothing good. I could have gotten the same at the ten dollar dump and still had my Saturday to enjoy. Do not go the Aura or to Hosha, this place is a sham. They call it high-end because the give you a coffee but I don't go to a salon for a coffee or waste my day - I have a damn life. I heard they are closed, if so I'm glad. If they deserve to gtfoh.

My sister in law took me to this salon to get my hair coloured or highlight. My hair stylist provides me lots of good information and also good advise for my hair colour. He is very honest... He only does what he needs to do... Like do partial highlight when that is only what I need for my visit. Unlike some other places always tell you to do full package when you don't need it yet. I have done highlight at other places before and never got any compliment. With him, I am not only getting compliments from my friends, I am getting stopped by strangers who tell me they love my hair style and colour highlight. Not only I am satisfy with my visit at Aura salon, my little princess is also very spoiled with her princess hair cut every time she goes there. The price for kids is reasonable... Especially if you are taking your kids to melon head, take them to Aura salon. All staff there are so friendly and they work as a team!!!
