RUBBISH! WORST TATOO IV EVER HAD DONE. i had wanted another tatoo for a very long time a decided to just go for it. i had known friends that had used carvilles for peircings and know they where very happy. at carvilles you cant make appointments which was fine. i thought this may be a bit difficult because i work quite long hours. i found a day and went and showed them the design i wanted and they told me they couldnt do it on the day as they would need to re draw it. this was fine. i had to pay a deposit of 20 pounds which i was happy to pay. i then turned up after work one day to have it done and was told that i would not be able to be seen cos there was someone else in. fine, so i went away. this happend twice. i then turned up at 6.55pm after work on a monday and sat in the waiting area for 10 mins finally someone came out to see me i said i would like my tatoo done. they told me it is after 7 your too late, even tho i had been waiting for 10 minutes. i asked for my deposit back as i was getting very bored of being told i cant have it done as i just wanted it done as soon as possible. they then told me that if i didnt want it done i would now loose my deposit. they saiud if i wanted it done i would have to wait an hour. this was a lie cos 15 minutes ater at 7.20 i was seen. the lady i saw was called jodie. she did the tatoo in 15 mins which i thought was very quick but i was happy with the tatoo when i left. 2 weeks later the tatoo healed but it was a mess. it was not coloured in properly and in places looked smuged. i phoned and was told to come back so they could have a look. i did this. i got there and again was waiting 15 mins before anyone came to see me. i was then spoken to by a 17 year old that was an apprentist who told me it had faded cos i hadnt looked after it properly. he did not have a proper look at it and the lady who did it didnt even bother to come have a look at the mess she had made. i was told that i would have to pay 30 pounds to have it touched up when i had already payed 40 pound which is a rip off anyway. I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO USE THIS TATOOIST AS THEY ARE VERY UNFRIENDLY AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. THIS IS A PERMANENT MARKING ON YOURT BODY AND IF YOU ARE PAYING IT SHOULD BE DONE PROPERLY. I had a cartilage piercing done elsewhere around a month ago, as it was done with a gun it may have been too tight and was struggling to heal, yesterday after a knock from my toddler it had swollen up so much that the skin had almost completely covered the jewelry. I panicked so the first thing i did was call Carvilles (at 9am) knowing they open at 10am i still tried and was incredibly pleased when Jodie called me back within minutes of me leaving a missed call. She reassured me and told me to come in and she'd replace the jewelery with something which would give my piercing space to breathe. I went in and she calmly removed the tight piercing and replaced it with a ring. All was sorted within minutes by 10am i was out and going about my usual day not having to worry about the angry piercing anymore. I was so impressed with the service, such a professional i just knew i was in good hands. I could not thank her enough from the prompt phone call return to the great aftercare advice. Nic did a portrait of billie joe Armstrong the lead singer of green day on the top of my arm and I am so happy with it and have had many ppl compliment on how good it is.
