The wedding was canceled due to Covid (the planning service fee of $6000 was paid separately), and no flower décor were ever provided. Despite multiple attempts to contact her via calls and emails, she has refused to respond or refund my money. I have since left Canada and the deposit was lost forever. Her actions are dishonest and unprofessional--avoid doing business with them if you don't want to risk losing your money.

The girls were a huge help, even from a month out. They recommended reliable vendors, gave us great advice for do's and don'ts, and used their copious amount of wedding experience to help us choose a timeline that made the most sense. And, when it came time for them to take over communication with all of our vendors, I was so relieved to let go of the reins and just take time to relax. No follow ups, confirmations, problem solving, coordinating, just relaxing. I was a fairly organized bride with very clear visions of the decor set up... I found it SO comforting to know that every detail would be looked after on the day-of, and that none of my friends and family had to worry about doing anything either! We wanted to throw a great party that everyone could enjoy, and the last thing I wanted to do was assign tasks to everyone. There were a few hiccups throughout the day, some of which I didn't even find out about until the day after (sign of a great, calm coordinator!) I.e when it came time to go to the ceremony site, Margaux said there were a few more people trickling in, so let's have another mimosa and wait until everyone's ready. Turns out that it was the groom's parents and our ring bearer that were 30 minutes later than the agreed time! I'm SO glad I didn't know that. The photobooth was also an hour late, and Margaux took control of that - I never had to deal with it. She managed it so well that we ended up getting the 2h booth time for free! These girls are skilled at what they do, and they're extremely helpful and accommodating. There wasn't anything I threw at them that they didn't take in stride :-) They were worth every penny and I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

Could not be more thrilled with how it went. Our original contact left soon after we started planning the event but Anya stepped in and guided us through the whole process. She was so patient with all of our questions/phone calls and willing to work with our ideas to make this a truly memorable and personal event for our daughter's and our guests. The chef was able to work with our specific food requests and designed a menu that we wanted and within our budget. The quality and presentation of everything was spot on. From the second we arrived on the night of the event, everything was perfect. From the set up of the room, to the food, to the bar. Open and bright with their large windows and the patio with the Vancouver skyline is icing on the cake. Our wedding had around 200 guests and the space allowed us to host everyone comfortably, and since a large majority of our guests were from out of town, they were very impressed with the view this venue provides. By booking with Diamond, they also provide you with a day-of coordinator. Stacy and Anya were awesome to work with. I currently live in Calgary so everything was done via e-mail or phone. I never had to wait long to get a response back any time I had questions or concerns. As most weddings would have problems, we encountered a few hiccups the day of our wedding as well, but these ladies being professionals that they are, took care of everything while they instructed me to eat and relax downstairs until everything is sorted out for the wedding party entrance. Note that they do in house catering - but the chef there knows what he's doing. We met with him for our tasting menu and he was very attentive and took down notes on anything that needed to be tweaked. The food was delicious and we received a lot of compliments - which is huge for a wedding. Lastly, a tip for any couple that are planning their wedding in 2016 and on wards. We lucked out because the day of our wedding was the Celebration of Lights opening. Stacy said that sometimes depending on the way the fireworks are set up, you can either see a bit of it from their patio or all of it. We lucked out and at 10pm that night, all our guests were able to watch the entire fireworks show from China (who spent millions, I'm sure), which was something that I'm sure our guests will never forget. Thanks Diamond Ballroom!! We were so lucky to have our wedding reception there and all of your staff made it extremely memorable for us. We'll be sending out lots of referrals any time we can!

She will always go above and beyond to make sure you are not overwhelmed. We chose to save money and not hire a decorator so Nicole and her team used the items we bought to decorate in the morning of the wedding day.
