I took a new car (less than six months old) to CarStar after a minor accident. When their…read moretechnician was installing a new grille he or she broke the clips that hold it in place. CarStar tried to solve this by drilling a hole into an adjacent piece and then tying the broken grille in place with zip ties. All of this was clearly visible. For this they charged my insurance company over $7,000, a suspiciously high amount considering the damage (they even charged for the zip ties!) In addition to this, sensors in the vehicle's front end were unhooked and not hooked up again. Very, very disappointed with the shoddy workmanship and CarStar Amherst's response.
