I know absolutely NOTHING about vaping, but my sister asked me to grab her a novo device for her. I told the gal I was clueless & what my sister wanted me to get. Kaleigh (sp?) showed me a vaporesso device & told me all of the differences & pros that it had over the novo (apparently pods are cheaper & they're top fill so they leak less). Because it was valentine's day, the store had deals for buying a whole set up (device + pack of pods + 2 bottles of juice), with 35% off. I texted my sister & got the go ahead. Again, I'm clueless with this stuff so the 2 gals helped set up the device & fill it with the juice to make sure it worked before leaving. My sister is super happy with it. Showed up at 8:53 pm1/24/25 there was an employee waiting at the door, which I thought was weird I got out of my truck to walk up to the door and the lady locked the door as I was walking up to the door and she shut the open light off as I was standing at the door. It was a heavier set girl in black-and-white pants. Maybe she thinks you can't see through the door but you in fact can pretty disappointing the workers have just gone down the tubes lately in fact that same Worker has been rude to me before there is a new girl in there. Like many others I have spent hundreds of dollars here. My personal Choice is just a simple Puff Bar. I would purchase the 3/4 or 4/5 on sale. Never failed , at least one would be dead. I always mention it and was told I need to open each bar and take a hit prior to leaving the store. Soooooo that is what I did. Paid for my purchase, took one hit and drove home. On the way I took one more and nothing! Blinking and dead as can be. I was keeping all the bad puff bars to show someone ( approximately 20 )but it seems they do not care. I came in to get a quick refill, so I asked to buy a bottle of Glazed Donuts which is literally $10-$12 where I usually buy it online, but I figured I'd support a local business but I asked if I could have it for $25 out the door, I assume it was the owner who then bitterly said to me with a scowl, "You're not going to buy more?" so I quickly looked through their inventory and I asked if I could sample a specific flavor when someone else responded "Sorry, we can't do that right now" and I asked, "don't you have a dripper I can use?", their response was "someone stole it". You're a vape store, without a single rda to let customers sample? In a full shop of overpriced cheap gear you can't produce a dripper so I can taste a flavor that I might have purchased? What a joke. I've been here a few times before when there was a pleasant girl working, and their Aspire coils are a great price, but I'm not going to shop here anymore. Decided to stop by while my car was being worked on down the street. Lady at the counter was extremely friendly and responsive to my questions. Picked up two bottles of salt nic and was surprised at such a huge selection of both salt and regular juices to choose from. Many of the shops in Reno were mediocre compared to this one, experiences vary obviously from customer to customer but I'm definitely down to stop by again if I find myself back in Carson. Our first couple of visits at Carson Vape were good. The more my boyfriend and I went we noticed red flags. The manager Mo is very friendly when you're buying more than you need or came in for. When you don't buy extra it becomes a negative atmosphere. He's no longer friendly and gives off a rude attitude. He try's to sucker you in with 'deals' which in reality adds up fast. For example, I asked for a four battery charger and he brought up the most expensive six battery charger. I told him I didn't need it yet he still rung it up. I asked for one juice and he brought too. !!!Another thing that rubbed us the wrong way was he also offers 'discounts' if you give a positive review on yelp!!!Not a very good manager or people person when he doesn't get his way. Drove about 2 hours to Carson Vape because they told me they'd replace a puff bar I bought for someone because it basically exploded On her after the battery stayed on non stop after hitting. after speaking with them on the phone with them and having them say THEY WOULD replace it then to show up after driving 2 hours to have them say we don't do that... so y'all gonna pay for our gas or what? Why lie to your customers? You could have just said sorry instead of making false promises. I'm from SoCal, visiting my daughter in Gardnerville, and needed batteries for my Smok. I decided to check out Carson Vape because I liked the reviews. Although I've been doing this for years, I'm a lot older than the average vapor and don't always feel comfortable in some of these shops so I'm tentative and careful. The minute I walked through the door, the first thing I noticed was the overwhelming inventory. Mohammed came out to help me and I was immediately at ease with how friendly and engaging he was. He immediately identified and pulled out the batteries I needed. I was further impressed with his prices which are so much better than what I'm used to back home. I ended up buying another vape for a great price. He asked me about the oils I like and and made some suggestions. I never felt that I was being pressured in the least which is important because I hate the hard sell approach. I plan to go back before heading home to Socal to check out some of his suggestions. My overall experience was great. Carson Vape has a great inventory, terrific prices, and engaging, friendly and knowledgeable ownership (Mohammed). Please avoid this shop! Their products are not only hideously overpriced, but their staff is not helpful, and they will offer absolutely no returns or exchanges, under any circumstances. Also, the owner is a little creepy. First, their selling tactics are ridiculous. I have been here multiple times and I have noticed, every single time, one of the staff will call the owner over and he will give me a "discount" of ten dollars, (off of the 100 percent markup). So, I recently bought a magneto vape pen, for 40 dollars (after his 'discount') and when I got home, I looked it up, and found the exact same pen on any online website for literally fifteen dollars! The other thing I have noticed, which, I dont wan't to make any accusations, but I find it weird how the owner literally only hires young girls, some of whom I knew to be just over 18. The owner, Moe, just gives off a creepy vibe and can be very pushy when you are looking at buying something, he will shout his catchphrases and can generally just be off putting. To summarize, their prices are RIDICULOUS and their customer service is mediocre, and the owner is just shady. There are other vape shops in Carson, and they are surely better choices. I purchased a Novo3 pod this evening, after realizing that I was charged for a three pack when I only received a two pack I went back in the store to get the extra pod. When I walked in the store I was immediately slandered with the fact that I was purchasing it for someone else, underage. I explained to them that my older son is sitting in the front seat of my car and then when I got into the car I handed him my purse and my bags. The product was not for him. But they accused me consistently over and over again that I had Purchased this for a minor even after I explain to them I did not. They told me then I was 86 from their store. I asked them to please return the amount that was charged wrongly against my credit card for the product that they had not provided. Which by the way were empty pods. As a professional business owner myself I am shocked at the way I was treated this evening. I was accused of something that was not accurate and then supposedly "86" from their store. I do not encourage anyone to go into that store unless you wish to be mistreated treated and accused wrongly. read more

This vape shop is pretty decent in terms of selection but the owner is a straight up scum bag, he'll try to sell you anything, it doesn't matter if you need it or not, if you ask for a juice recommendation he's gonna steer you to the most expensive stuff they've got regardless of your intent. UPSELL UPSELL UPSELL. This guy is so bad he makes me want to start smoking again! They have a rewards program that he'll act like doesn't exist if you're due a reward. I was there less than a week ago and was told that I had a $30 credit, so before I check out I tell him, "I was told I have a credit" he says okay, rings everything up and low and behold no credit. Worst customer service I've ever experienced at a vape store. Went in 2 days ago and waited 20 minutes to be helped. The woman working was chatting it up with a man, and it didn't appear he was there to purchase anything. When I finally got her attention, I felt I was rushed to get what I wanted. Went in again today. Waited and waited. There was a gentlemen in front of me waiting as well. I knew what I wanted. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I said "I just need some coils", the same woman said "I'm helping someone". Then another muscular gentleman walked in the doo. The woman immediately began helping him. So me, and the gentlemen that was in front of me walked out. They will never have my business again! read more
