I am surprised I got a quick response on a Monday. Garage door Spring broke yesterday, so I sent out 3 requests for quotes. Only got one reply. I left a message for Will, and he called me back in minutes. So, I canceled 3 other garage door companies and Will was available before lunch! A 30 yr experienced owner/operator, it was clear he is an expert in this field. I encourage anyone. if they need a garage door repaired or replaced. I'd wait for the best I have seen and call Carroll Garage Doors Inc. Professional service, on time, friendly and reliable. read more

I am so happy we contacted Will for our garage door. Something had happened to our garage door that made it fall off the track. We called Will late in the day and set up an appointment for early the next morning. He was here on time, was able to fix our door and do a tune up on it for a reasonable price. He was very professional and personable. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a garage door repair man. We will definitely be using him again. :) read more

Excellent Service from start to end. Highly recommend. I really do appreciate the service, price that I received. Thank You!!!

Very professional, reasonably priced and just really good service . I would definitely use again

WOW! Promptly call back. SOOO HELPFUL, professional & friendly. Will work with them again for sure!!

We just had a new garage door and opener installed by Carroll Garage Doors here in Simi Valley, CA, and I cannot say enough good things! They are very fair priced, reliable, and super friendly. Joaquin did a superior job with installation, was on time and was very tidy. We are extremely happy with our purchase, and overall experience! Don't bother calling other companies who are overpriced, and will try to sell you what you don't need. These guys are the real deal. read more

This was the most frustrating experience I've had working with anyone. Horrible at returning phone calls, took over a year to get my 3 garage doors done, guys come out to repair an opener and don't get the job done, says he ordered items but never did, guys show up with bad attitudes, have been trying to get him to complete . If you're expecting a professional experience from someone who cares about their customers, keep looking because this is not where you will find that. Just wow. read more

AWESOME!!! Motor stopped working on the garage opener. Will replaced the board on my garage opener, greased up the rollers I believe that what it was, very honest and on time. Showed me how to re-program 2 other old remotes for when I got the new batteries for it. Highly recommend this company. Thank you. read more

Great experience. Responsive, reliable, fast and friendly installation. I highly recommend this business.

When I started looking around for a new garage door to be installed, Yelp was the first place I looked since I trust their reviews. I came across Carroll Garage and a few others. Let's put it this way, this company was the only company that was professional! I got a call back right away, they didn't make me wait weeks on end to get a quote, and even better...they were able to install within days of that quote!! As with a lot of homes, my washer and dryer is located in the garage and I had to walk into that very hot garage due to the garage door not being insulated and this company showed up, was completely professional, didn't take forever to install, cleaned up and hauled away the old door, and then took the time to tell me about how the maintain the rollers and main unit. Now doing laundry is no longer a chore and I would recommend this company for their fairness in price and speedy service. read more

Can't say enough good things about this company. Had to have an old door replaced and they went above and beyond. Showed up on time for the quote and install, good communication through the process and excellent prices. Not only a new insulated door but also new weather stripping and rails on the price. Good quality product, awesome all around. read more

After having such a bad experience with Mesa Garage Doors (long story....posted previously), I finally found Carroll Garage Doors in Simi Valley. They were recommended by a friend, so I gave them a call. They came out the very next day, gave me an estimate lower than Mesa Garage Doors AND came out in less than a week to install. They were in and out in 3 hours. They didn't charge a deposit either, which was a nice plus. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Just wanting to add that after dealing unsuccessfully with Mesa, I tried Empire Garage Doors, which was recommended very highly on this site. I called them twice, left two messages and never even got a call back. I felt like I was begging them to install a new door........thank goodness for CARROLL GARAGE DOORS! read more

They usually don't service my area, but when I called, Mr. Carroll was so nice and told me that he would come out since he was going to be in the area. He was efficient, friendly and did the job right. Will be calling him for all my garage needs. read more

I'm a bit late posting this, but I suppose for the better. I needed my 2, forty year old garage doors replaced. After researching and deciding what quality level of door I needed, I had 3 contractors come to quote. One contractor was way out there as far as price, and took way too long to figure out what I needed. Will Carroll came by, listened to what I wanted, explained his product, quickly measured and gave me a quote, like he had done this before! A third contractor came by but at this point I was being polite. The guy gave me a fair quote, but I still felt more confident with Will Carroll. Will's guy showed up on time, 8 am sharp. He was completely done and gone by 12 pm. He was tidy, precise, and pleasant. A year plus later, no problems, and my doors look great. Thank-you Will Carroll and team! read more

Carroll Doors are wonderful! We contaced them on Sunday to get help for my father in laws garage door opener. The garage couldnt open at all. They made the appointment on Tuesday morning. When he arrived he found out that the opener only needed new parts and he ran out to his truck. He fixed the opener and saved my 92 old father in law the money. Great service and fair prices too. Thank you !!!!! read more

If I could give them 10 Stars, I would. I spoke with Will on the phone and he knew right away what the problem was with my garage door. He was very professional and gave me a very reasonable quote over the phone. He came over about 20 minutes later and took care of my garage door. He was very friendly and professional. He stood out on top of the other businesses for several reason - 1. His price was awesome 2. Very professional 3. Very knowledgeable and just straight out cool guy! He definitely got a new customer. I definitely recommend Carroll Garage Doors. Thanks again Will read more

A friend recommended Carroll Garage Doors to me and I couldn't have been happier. He knew exactly what was wrong with my garage door and fixed it quickly. Very honest guy. I would definitely recommend Will. read more

Great job!! Efficient installation at a much better price and features than the one you see on TV. He realigned our existing opener making it much quieter. So six years later when the 25 year old opener died, we shopped around. Called Carroll's, again great price and on time installation. Very reliable. read more

I had a problem with my garage door that was installed by another Wayne-Dalton dealer. The other dealer told me this I "misused" the door and that I would need to pay for the replacement of the broken top panel. As I had done nothing other than open and close the door with my remotes, this wasn't possible. I called Will Carroll who came over right away and found that the door was improperly installed so that it rubbed against the door jamb which over time caused the door to buckle and break. He even called in the manufacturer's (Wayne-Dalton) district manager who took the time to personally review and verify this in writing. Will fixed the original installer's errors, installed the replacement panel and inspected both doors all at a great price. I highly recommend Will. read more

My garage broke out of nowhere, and I called Caroll Garage doors for a quote. He came over first thing in the morning, fixed the garage in 20 minutes, and was a lot cheaper than some of the other quotes I had gotten. I'd use them again in a heartbeat. read more

It's been several years since we had our garage door fixed by this company, and I think that's all the more reason to listen to this review. I've been meaning to recommend them, and it's always been on my mind to do that but it's taken this long to get there! This company's honest, fair and frankly I wouldn't ask anyone else to come fix/replace my garage door. The tl;dr story is that our garage door came off its rail for reasons I won't get into, and we hired another company to come and set it straight. That company claimed they did the job, put an advertising sticker on our door, and left. Three opens later and the door came loose again, and this time the spring unwound. On a recommendation from my father in law I called Carroll Garage Doors, and the guy came over, looked at the door, and had it fixed in a half hour. Charged me a very reasonable price. And to this day, four years later, it's working great. If your garage door is busted or needs replacing, call this company. They know what they're doing, they're professional and get it done. read more

This is the second time I have had Will come out to fix my garage door. He returned my call within an hour and was out the next day to fix it. His price was reasonalbe too. I would definitely recommend him! read more

I called this company on referral from my neighbor when my garage springs broke. He was able to come the same day. Arrived on time and completed the repair quickly. Only complaint is that he charged me $10 more than his quote (and what my neighbor paid). I didn't ask about the small amount, but he didn't give me an explanation. He also gave me a quote on a replacement opener but now not sure how reliable the quote would be. read more

We've had Mr. Carroll help us with our garage door more than once. This time, however, he will not return our calls, to fix an improper installation of the rubber piece on the bottom of the door. We've tried for months now! read more

Had a broken garage door spring and a very old garage door opener. Will came over and did an outstanding job in replacing the opener and spring. Highly recommended company! We called them pretty late in the afternoon, early the next morning our garage door was repaired! He was on time, no mess, was in and out within 1/2 hour. I will be using them next time anything happens to our garage doors. Very professional and the price charged was amazing...no hidden fees what so ever! Please call them, you will not be disappointed read more

Wonderful experience. Called this company after coming home to find our garage spring had broken, and door was inoperable. Was referred by my father who has used them several times for his primary residence, as well as rental property, and was very pleased. I called today around 11am and a gentleman answered and stated he could be there around 1:30. He quoted me a price of $160 over the phone. 1:28 the doorbell rang. He inspected the door, replaced the springs, oiled everything and charged me exactly what he had quoted. No up-sell, no shell games, no bs. Very polite, highly knowledgable and most importantly, my wife liked him. Will use again and recommend highly. read more

Thank you Will! Carroll Garage Doors is a trusted business. Ive lived over 20 years in Simi Valley and Ive had my share of both good and bad experiences with all sorts of companies. Ive always had a positive experience with this company and this is not the first time they have come to my rescue in a pinch. I expected to pay an arm and a leg for this service today but no way. I found the invoice once again very reasonable. Thank you Carroll Garage Doors! Its good to know I have one more business I can trust. read more

My first review got demoted to "Not Recommended" (below) so let me see if i can craft something more helpful and less sarcastic in the hope that it stays here on the main page and dissuades some hapless folks from using Carroll Garage Doors. If you want to install a new garage door, call Will Carroll - he's your man. I did, and my door lasted 10 years, very few problems. However, if you need that door fixed once something does go wrong, look elsewhere - this company is not interested in repairs (no money in it) and WILL ignore you and your business. How do I know? I logged approximately 22 phone calls into this company without a response between November 2013 and April 2014, making the mistake of stating I needed an estimate for repair. Not. One. Call. Back. (Oh, wait - he did call me back the first time, set up an appointment and never showed - so there's that.) You can do better - believe me. (Try KISO - the company I just used that fixed my garage door pleasantly and cost efficiently.) read more
