Our daughter has been a patient at Carroll Counseling for two years and I can't praise them highly enough. I'm surprised and horrified at the other reviews several people wrote. The office staff has always been friendly, cheerful, and helpful. The paperwork that is required is straightforward and if you are literate it shouldn't be a problem for anyone. The psychiatrist that works with us is outstanding in every way and has helped our daughter tremendously. I recommend Carroll Counseling sincerely. Do not schedule an appointment here for your child! The paperwork was very confusing! I had an appointment scheduled and was told to fill out the paperwork before coming to the appointment. I had to leave two messages before getting assistance with the paperwork. The phone call back was right before the appointment and was never told I needed to send in the paperwork that day. We arrived for the appointment and a snarky front desk assistant told us we couldn't see the doctor. If you all really want to help children maybe you should communicate better. they are terrible! you are never able to talk to someone. I have called 7+ times to get a medication refill and no one has gotten back to me nor have they Sent a request for my medication to the pharmacy. DONT GO HERE THEY ARE TERRIBLE AND NOT HELPFULL!!!!! read more

They will not answer the phone and misled me with scheduling information. The location changed, Mt. airy to Eldersburg, then it was online instead of in person and then I was never given any information to sign on for the online. They wont return any of my calls but they sure will send you the bill over and over again! Save yourself from more anxiety and stress and go somewhere else. read more
