Panos was extremely helpful in keeping me on track with my goals and supportive the entire time. I can't be more enthusiastic about her method, passion or credentials. She is truly amazing. In addition, Musicians Learning Center has gone way out of their way to be understanding about the business end of things. It's always pleasant to deal with them, and Melissa never tires of my questions when I don't understand something. She's also happy to work around vacation schedules and other general nuttiness in our lives. If I had one criticism, it would be to complain that I wish their office was closer to Holly Springs., which is where we moved to. I recommend them without reservation and encourage you to seek them out for your music learning needs.

We had studied with 3 other teachers in the Cary area and we could not be happier finding Kellis. I totally see my kids studying under her until moving away to college! Kellis is a classically trained pianist. Her piano curriculum includes not only the piano playing techniques but also the musical theory and history about the pieces and the composers. She has a perfect balance of being nice and stern. She is extremely patient, however, she also sets clear expectations on practice. She encourages and prepares her students to compete in various piano competitions and festivals as ways to push and challenge them. She also participates in the National Guild program where students work towards a set of goals every year to continue to improve themselves. Annually she holds two formal recitals, as well as informal duet parties and other charitable performances. Whether you are a beginner looking for causal learning as a hobby, or a serious player looking to advance your skills, I would highly recommend Kellis from the Dryer Music Studio.

I have been working with Dr. Steve Fiess of High Range Piano for the last 10 months as an adult…read morepiano student, and I have been extremely satisfied with his instruction. I have been making great progress, and I've been improving faster than I have in the past with other teachers. Overall, Steve is a quiet, calm, all-around kind person. He is always encouraging, even when offering constructive criticism of my playing. I always look forward to my next lesson. After each lesson, I leave feeling good about my playing, and also like I received good feedback, so I know where I need to improve. Steve has been great at helping me select songs to play. As we move on to new pieces, the next one is always just the right difficulty--challenging enough to help me progress but always within reach with a little bit of work. He's also always open to me bringing in pieces that I want to work on. I usually bring a few in, and he helps me decide which piece will be the best fit for my current skills. Steve's depth and breadth of piano knowledge is also impressive. I often ask him questions about why a particular piece is written a particular way or some other detail about a piece. He always has a thorough answer that covers the relevant areas of music history, theory, and practice. I've never met another piano teacher who is so knowledgeable about the piano and piano music. It really helps to give some context to the music I'm playing and helps me understand it better. Overall, I've been very pleased, and I would not hesitate to recommend High Range Piano to anyone looking for a piano teacher.

They instill in all of their students a love for music. If there is a piece I want to play because it speaks to my heart, they will find the music and help me learn it. When my left hand was injured and unable to play for over a year, Neal played the left hand of my pieces and later when I had the use of that hand back, we continued to incorporate duets and a trio (with my sister on the violin) into our music lessons. They knit all of the adult students together in adult studio class, an informal pot luck at which we played for each other. It has been wonderful. We are continuing with on line lessons and adult studio class by Skype.

My oldest found calm listening to this music as a baby in the car and still selects it to relax at bedtime. Beyond the great collection of skill enhancing songs, however, I was truly impressed by Ms. Catherine's particular approach to this program through Sprouts Songs Music. Her creativity in engaging the kids and parents in each of the songs was amazing. I was surprised by the number of ways she came up with to share the same song with the kids and the many ways she included the adults in the room such that the time seemed to fly by. She further had such a fun way of using various instruments, scarves, parachutes, sticks, and other accessories to play with the music. Not only was she clearly talented with the guitar and knowledgeable of all the musical properties to the various songs, she also had an easy way with the kids that made for a most enjoyable atmosphere!
