I was staying in Suresnes for a few weeks in November-December 2019, and this was one of the closest and most convenient supermarkets for me to pick up various food and housekeeping staples during my stay. It's a pretty huge supermarket, with lots of options on the shelves, and it's also attached to a boulangerie/pâtisserie, accessible from the Carrefour without having to go outside.
Over the course of my visits here, I picked up dairy items, charcuterie, packaged shelf-stable items, and cleaning supplies. Since this location is so big, I definitely noticed a lot more options of each item (as well as larger sizes) were available here than at some of the smaller locations I visited when I later moved onto Paris proper. Upon entering, there's a pretty sizable organic section, then the fresh meat and produce, and then the refrigerated/frozen and shelf-stable sections. Going past these, there's a separate area for housekeeping and personal care ("droguerie"). There are cash registers located on both the food and droguerie sides of the supermarket, although you can go through either with all your purchases.
The 1st few times I visited, I had to check out through the manned cash registers, as I had a foreign (American) credit card and based on prior experience, these were always a hassle if I tried to use them in self-checkouts in Europe. The lines at the manned cash registers were always long, since mostly people making huge purchases would go through here, and there weren't any express lines like they have in the States. Plus on 1 of my visits, a customer got into a loud argument with the cashier, which held up the line even more. After I got my French bank card, I started going through the self-checkout and it was much quicker.
This supermarket is large and a convenient place to do your weekly shop if you're living in the area. There's a big selection of items, including most everything you need for the pantry and for housekeeping. It's not the cleanest supermarket I've been to in the Paris area, and the service isn't fantastic, but it's still a solid option. If there's anything you can't find in the droguerie or the organic section here, there's a pharmacy and a Bio c' Bon on either side of the store read more
