Nice to see a French chain in Argentina. We stopped by here to pick up some sundries. The storefront seemed pretty beat up and past its prime. read more

Everything is freshly baked and the food is delicious. You won't be able to decide which pastry to choose, I guarantee it! Friendly staff to boot! Someone gifted us with assortment of cookies from this bakery in Buenos Aires. All were delicious. My favorite was a cookie topped with raspberry jam, an almond and icing. It was better than an orgasm...ok maybe not better but pretty darn close. These cookies were bite size but each had its own distinct and delicious flavor. If ever I make it to Buenos Aires I will definitely look this bakery up and spend the entire day sampling all their little bits of heaven. So `Ono!

I don't know what it is, but I do know it is sweet gooey goodness. The taste is sort of like rose-honey with some not-too-sweet berries thrown in. They have excellent bathrooms (flowers, clean and with art pieces above the toilets) and their food selection its impressive for Argentinean standards. You get some tasty fresh goods and local takeout delicatessen made right on the spot! Yes! In front of your eyes! From roasted meats flavored with local species, to authentic sushi made by a Japanese sushi master! While the personal its horrible to dealt with (and extremely rude as well) I find that the food selection alone makes this the place to go shopping for tasty treats in Buenos Aires. If you are coming here, you need to stop by this Bay Area chain supermarket. Kumbo has a free parking lot underground, and if you pay with your credit card instead of cash (rare in Argentina) they have one of these self-checkout machines you can use instead if wait in line like a bum! Also, they have a dry-cleaning service right inside the store, so you can get that jacket clean while you shop!
