Unfortunately the crew was comprised of 6 men. 3 who came to work and worked very hard, 3 who spent more time avoiding work and on their phones than actually working. The 3 who didn't come to work dropped a small-ish tree on our house, damaging a gutter sufficiently to require replacement which Barone's did pay for. the flagpole and antique planter they damaged Barone's didn't pay to replace. The crew also dropped a tree on our relatively new fence. Barone's did replace the fencing, I'm left to stain it to match. In spite of my walking the team lead around the property and pointing out where our septic line ran one of the aforementioned 3 amigos who came to collect pay versus work drove a bobcat over the line and broke it in multiple places. And this, ladies and gentleman, is damage I am extremely upset about. Because I only showed the team where the line was and didn't mark it with flags Barone's, who is licensed, insured and bonded, refuses to cover the repairs. Now my wife and I are left to have our septic system repaired out of pocket in addition to having to pay another company to come in and complete the debris clean up. Bad on me for assuming an insured company would actually cover damage they caused. I may as well have hired a non-licensed, non-insured crew. I hate this is where we've ended up. In the past Barone's has done truly excellent work for us. But I cannot recommend them to anyone after this debacle.
