This company arranged for a fitter to come and measure carpet. I phoned on the day to be told firstly the fitter would call us back to arrange a time. No phone call. I phoned back an hour later To be told the fitter should have phoned us back He would not be coming as he was in Saltcoats Then that was changed to Falkirk. If they can't be relied on to come on an arranged day to measure I certainly would not trust them to deliver and fit a carpet. Very poor service read more

WOMEN STAY SAFE AND AVOID!!!Before posting this, I gave the Area Manager an opportunity to deal with this matter and director before I posted this on several review sites and social media. After 8 weeks and a pathetic attempt to silence me I feel its now time to make the public aware please see a response to a complaint I made 8 weeks ago about a member ( Manager of the Falkirk store) not only made me feel uncomfortable on my home but seems that his inappropriate advances have not been taken seriously enough, this does not include the poor carpet fitter that resulted in my 7 year old daughter with a nail in her foot that went though her shoe, carpet and underlay left in my living room as he had been booked the fitter late on the Friday night leaving me with no option but to fund another fitter on a Saturday! costing me more money, I was duped in by a good deal that trebled when I was there as I did not take on manager advances. read more

After visiting 3 other carpets shops we visited carpetways in Motherwell. James was excellent. The choice of carpets was fantastic and compared to what we had seen previously far better quality at a great price. I don't normally write reviews but had to in this instance. Thanks James, the fitters and all at carpetways Motherwell. read more

reasonable place to buy carpets . always seem to have a sale on , but hid away on albert street and a bit off the beaten track. been here a few years now and sell a variety of carpets , bathroom carpets , vinyl flooring and hardwood flooring . it pays to shop around though as it is not always the cheapest and you might get a much better deal elsewhere . the current promotion is buy any carpet over £99 and get free fitting . what they do is reduce the price of your carpet and you have to pay the fitter , and as i noticed a few carpets have gone up in price , call me cynical if you must but not the great deal you think you may be getting when you see advertisement. can pick up some cheap roll ends but most of these under £99 so have to pay for fitting . they have to make a profit somewhere i suppose, could be more upfront about there offers so people know what they are getting. read more

Unfortunately I cannot rate lower than 1 star as this is very generous considering our experience with Motherwell branch of Carpet ways when purchasing carpet for our stairway area - from Area manager to branch manager to salesman we have had nothing but constant lies and a shocking attitude towards us as customers - we were sold a carpet that 1 - was not fit for purpose, and 2 - was not as described - the carpet we were told that was suitable for our stairs was not supposed to be used on stairway - this carpet also shed a lot of pile within 1 week and after 1 hoover - we were only in home 3 days and carpet had been down for approx 4 days before we moved in so it was down for about 1 week and shed so much the carpet faded a great deal - 1 we believe this was faulty piece of carpet and 2 this carpet should not have been sold to us at all - we have checked with many other branches and have been clearly told that this carpet is not fit for a stairway but should have also lasted more than 1 week - we were told the carpet would be replaced but not for about a week - they then cancelled on the day agreed - arranged for another date but they had not given fitter enough carpet (they also attempted to just replace stairs and not landing) - we asked for our money back and were told no problem but we would have to wait a week for manager to return from holiday - then we were told fitter would bring refund in cash when removing faulty carpet but once again let down and fitter was no show - the fitter did come the next day but with not deposit - called Motherwell branch and Manager then told us that we would have to wait for Area manager to come back from his day off - after threatening to contact trading standards I was then told the money would be refunded onto debit card used in purchase - but still do not have my money back - would never use again and certainly would never recommend to anyone, cannot believe that they get away with this behavior but I do know that if your Bosses boss acts a certain way with lack of respect for customer service etc then your Boss most likely will and on it goes - I am only 1 customer but I have family and friends who have seen what they have done here and how they have acted so I can assure you they will not be using Carpet ways Motherwell again either - well done guys you have cost yourselves a few loyal customers but we are not the first and with your attitude towards people we certainly wont be the last - Never again never never never - the Hamilton branch knows how to act professionally and I would recommend them highly read more
