We moved to Davenport in July of 2020 and had new floors, baseboards and countertops installed by LuJo Floors and they did a HORRIBLE job. The workmanship was complete shit. It's been less that 4 years and our floorboards are separating and chipping. Much of our baseboards have fallen off the wall. See photos as proof. We started seeing things fall apart less than 1 yr after they completed the work. We called them back when we first started seeing bumps and notches in the floorboards - they fixed that but when we called them again for the baseboards they wouldn't fix it because it had been more than one year since the work was completed. I know that this type of work should last more than 2 or 3 years!!! We are beyond pissed and frustrated. We spent over $15K with them and this was the quality we received. Blasting this everywhere because it's not right! These pics are just a few examples of the floorboards and baseboards falling apart ALL OVER THE HOUSE!

They severely damaged…read morethe majority of our walls when taking off the baseboard, in addition to halfway up many of our walls. They claimed it was difficult to remove the engineered hardwoods, but then never gave us any credit or repairs for all the damage. They left an area in our home, incomplete with putting the baseboards back in in despite charging us for these baseboards and they never came back to finish, so we will need to get somebody else to come into our home to finish the paid for baseboards. The tile grout work and some areas were not installed well. It's uneven and we've been dealing with lots of grout haze throughout the whole project with no remedies to get it off. The team of people that were installing the tile seemed friendly, but none of them spoke English and communication was a challenge. Owner won't respond to my email or phone call regarding the completion. Very disappointing when you've paid 28k to install tile and replace baseboard. Now we need to pay to repair and paint our space that they were in, In addition to finding a way to get the rest of the tile, grout cleaned up off of the new tile floors. There's lots of floor companies out there, and I wish we would've chosen a different one in Naples.

But, I must say that I know everything is now done correctly. Miguel is probably the most professional businessman I have ever worked with. His prices are in line with the job, he is an honest, straight-up tell you if you need it or not kind of guy. Like the other reviews say, he is on time, knows many different crafts, and doesn't take another job until your job is complete. That's important because we all have heard horror stories about those who start a job but never finish. Not Miguel! I first hired Miguel to address a mold issue that another contractor caused. Part of this job included replacing the shower valve, cutting out ceramic tiles from my shower wall and installing new ones after all the mold was taken care of. After seeing his work ethics, skills, and dedication to the job at hand, my list for Miguel grew. He repaired and installed new sprinklers and heads, and in two areas, new lines, and 2 new timers, which he also programmed. He repaired, sealed and insulated the hole in the attic another contractor left when attempting to fix my A/C. He also installed new insulation where it was needed, which is not where I originally thought. After he looked in the attic, he told me I did not need it where I wanted it, but I did need it at the opposite end of the house. The choice was mine, of course. You really can not go wrong by hiring Miguel. Especially, if you're skeptical of being taken advantage of or getting ripped off.
