This is my second visit to this restaurant. The first time a year ago it was very pleasant. The…read moresecond time a year later, we were treated improperly. The waiter, an older swarthy Mediterranean looking man with white hair, claimed he didn't understand English, which was clearly a lie since the previous year he took our order in English. We had to order our meals in Italian, which was not a serious problem but he responded arrogantly to our attempt at ordering the food in Italian.
The food is in this place is good, but the kind of treatment we got at the place was unacceptable. I suspect he made the assumption that because we were Americans we were Trump supporters and treated us in a very sub-par fashion. As a result I am lowering my rating to a 1 star.
My advise to the owner of the place is to make sure his waiters conduct themselves with proper decorum and address all the people at the table with civility. My initial rating for this place was much higher, but a 1 is all I can give it for now.
