I can only speak on behalf of the bar side of house and not restaurant side. Wanted to stop in a highly recommended place for a drink while in the Jewish District. The bartending skills didn't disappoint. Menu has some nice signature cocktails and they have a seasonal menu as well, such as Hot beer, Mulled wine, etc. Definitely worth the experience if you're in the area. Street market across the way with collector items and various things. Several restaurants surround the centre and building makes you feel like you're in Poland prior to 1987 .

This place acts as a pub at night, but a breakfast joint during the day. I was here for breakfast…read moreand this place was easily one of the best breakfast I've had in Europe so far! It is conveniently located near the main square and there is an outdoor market in the Jewish Quarter right outside. The decor is very rustic and retro, so totally fits the Polish mood. Their breakfast was very fresh, even their eggs tastes so much better than the ones I've had in the U.S. Some of the comments down below mentioned that the servers here are rude. I've had quite the opposite experience. Everyone here was very helpful and someone even swung by to check up on us. I honestly wish I found this place earlier, because I would have totally came back for seconds. Till next time Alchemia!

A relatively young crowd - early twenties. Pijalnia could take the prize for best bar food. The drink selection ranges from polish beers to various shots - all for $1 euro. Food includes soups, cream cheese+bagels, and steak tartare on rye, all for $2 euros. These were 3 of the very popular dishes. A must go!

I loved the concept! I'd love this place in Chicago. Open all the time and cheap. The decor is…read morealso awesome and styled after the Communist era. Went to this location at the beginning of the night and to the Kazimierz location toward the end of it, or somewhere in the middle...it was definitely a long, epic night in Krakow. We did not try the food but I know I'd like it. Simple Polish standards that go well with drinking. All the food is 8 zl and all the drinks are 4 zl. We had shots only. Plain vodka, Vibovit, Polo-cocta, and Borewicz. The shots were very sweet so we finished washing them down with just plain vodka. All the vodka was perfectly chilled. That was not the case at the Kazimierz location where they were warmer. Warm vodka is not good vodka, blah. The idea of this chain is awesome.
