After reading many great reviews about this place, I have to be honest and say I was disappointed…read more Now I will say that I only ordered a beer. That being said I tried two different dishes because people couldn't eat anymore. I tried the veggie ravioli and the black noodle seafood dish. The veggie ravioli I thought was bland but the sauce was quite good. And the black noodle seafood dish tasted quiet fishy which wasn't bad and the noodles were different but I enjoyed it. The place was really loud and smelled horrible like burning oil. It was like putting oil in my nose and Inhaling it. The food was a little pricy from what was being presented I'd say. The beer I ordered was Leffe. And it was a better version of a Weizen beer which are common here in Köln. A nice blonde beer with a smooth finish. Maybe worth a go one more time to actually order the meal I want.

I was spot on and the couple of miles walk there and back only made it better. We started off with the Godfather Pizza. Crust was perfect and the salami with the olives were incredible. The waiter then brought us three pasta dishes of his choice, and divided them into thirds. The pesto with shrimp was the best but the others were great too. Each pasta was cooked perfectly. We ended with a steak which again was split between the there of us, very tasty and cooked as requested, vegetables on the side were a nice compliment. No room for dessert but they all looked super yummy. Next time I'm in Cologne, I will for sure make another visit.

Walking in, the waiter was very nice and told us to have a seat and if we didn't like what was on the menu we could leave but he assured us we wouldn't and he was right. We ordered a beef carpaccio which was typical and tasty, nothing out of the ordinary. The next dishes see ordered was the tagliolini con tartufo which in English is just a tagliolini with truffle cream sauce. This had flakes of black truffle on it and this was very well done. The truffle was very strong but not over powering. The last dish we ordered was the pappardelle con ragu which had wild meat. I believe it was wild boar and venison. This was just as good as the last dish. The service was pretty good, considering I came in after a run with nike wear and sweating. There was no issue there. Ambiance was very beautiful. Ceiling had nice maple leaves and the the music was not too loud either. Overall I was gonna give it 4.5 but I based it off if I would come back which then pushed it to a 5.
