This is an update from a previous review I submitted in 2020. And I am happy to report that I buy the vast majority of my clothes from Carol's Boutique!! I live in Iowa and have only purchased clothes online, never been in the store. Their selection of clothing and accessories are amazing, and there is something new almost every day! For each item, they do their best in describing the material and fit. While some customers complain that they sell out too quickly, I would much rather have that happen, rather than seeing the same outfit on 25 other women! Besides, they have a handy option you can select, asking for a notification be sent when the item is back in stock. And they do notify us! They have improved the shipping and return policies, and are so prompt in order confirmations and shipping! Horrible customer service. I ordered a very pricey top that was sent to the wrong address somehow... Even though my address is correct in Sezzle...the owner doesn't seem to care and now I'm out a $70 top. The minute I emailed letting them know that the top had been sent to the wrong address, a new top should've been dispatched, and the owner of the company should have contact of USPS to get their top back. read more

I enjoy shopping online with Carol's Boutique. Everything I have received is great and I get great compliments on my clothes that I have received from them. I have ordered many items over the past few years and I have been very pleased with each order. I am out of state and I have ALWAYS received my order within 1 week. They ship everything priority mail so you can track it yourself. The staff is over the top helpful, if I have a question on how something looks on a person, I just call or message them and they send a picture of item being modeled. I have never had any issues returning items for store credit. This is an actual store in Alabama that uses Facebook to promote their business. Your item ships from Alabama. The only complaint I have is items are popular, they sell out fast. So if you see something you like, snatch it up quick! read more

Out-of-state online buyers beware! This store applies Jasper, Al, sales tax to all online purchases, whether the buyer is located in Alabama or not. They have one brick and mortar store, only, nothing outside the state of Alabama. I phoned the store and inquired about the charge. She said her accountant makes her do it. If this is true, then she needs a new accountant. read more

I purchased two blouses on the phone and I asked this merchant on the phone what her return policy is. She replied, "The information will be in the package" So she deceived me by not answering my question honestly. If she had answered the question honestly that they give STORE CREDIT ONLY, then I would not have made this purchase over the phone or perhaps would have only tried one blouse. The blouses looked like maternity clothes and I wanted a refund. I sent the merchandise back in the time I was supposed to. Then I disputed it through my credit card company only to discover the merchant appealed it and the charge for $115 was back on my credit card. Then I had an attorney send her two letters addressing this and still no reply. This person is deceiving and should be honest with her return policy when asked on the phone about it.
