Visiting the Old Town Farmers Market has become a Saturday morning ritual for me. Most of the time, I'm with my husband and my dog. Carol's Delectables has become a frequent vendor stop for us. Jared is obsessed with Carol's Jalapeno Jelly. He also recently purchased Carol's Kumquat Marmalade. I have yet to try either of those, but I'm a huge fan of Carol's Applesauce. When going to the farmer's market on Saturday I was pleasantly surprised at the fact it was less produce and more people selling their spreads, bread, oils etc. One of the first stalls we came across had some jalapeno fudge, habanero jelly and some of the best jalapeno jelly I have ever had. Picked up some marmalade in Prescott at a farmers market...its lemon, luscious and perfect for so many items. We just finished the last of it this holiday season dribbled over baked brie cheese. so yummy! read more
