I came back to Granite for a second opinion on a recent ankle break. I knew the ER had missed something because I've been walking on it with tolerable pain- now it's getting worse. I thought maybe it had healed wrong. In-house imaging showed that the sprain had dislodged a protruding bone. Dr. Simonson wrote for a stability brace, so I got it, wore it a couple times and now the pain is worse. It's the wrong brace for my injury. I explained to his MA twice, the pain is worse, asked for NON NARCOTIC pain medicine. I shouldn't have to feel guilty asking for a muscle relaxer and some extra strength Naproxen. I'm not a drug addict. And I hate being treated like one. Simonson should follow up with his All patients after their initial visit. To make sure people get better. Not worse.

He came into the room 15 minutes after.

Based on our experiences with their system of communication he would be on his own. We had a consultation with Dr Hijji about 2 weeks ago that went well. We were very impressed with Dr Hijji's approach and direct manner. During the appointment, Dr Hijji instructed my husband to provide him with recent MRI images and told him when he received/reviewed them we could set up a teleconference visit (we live 5 hours from Flagstaff) and he would provide his recommendations. Trying to submit the MRI images and schedule the follow-up tele health visit became a nightmare. I was first instructed to mail the MRI images to their admin offices in Phoenix. Several days after trying to contact his staff through his portal and receiving no reply I was contacted by Dr Hijji's medical assistant and she instructed me to send the MRI images to the Northern Arizona office location in Flagstaff. After sending the images and waiting 7 days to ensure they arrived I then called and received the message from the Admin staff that the images (CD) had not been received, Furthermore, they indicated they no longer offered Tele-health visits. I placed a message to the patient portal to Dr Hijjis team and received a message thru the patient portal that if I wanted a follow-up visit I would need to schedule an appointment at their Prescott location? I had been instructed to send the CD images to Flagstaff office. My husband went right when they opened and there was 3 people ahead of him. 2 hours in and he was there!!! In the 3rd hour they had finally taken a culture however not submitted and basically no answer as to why he felt so terrible. Why would you take a culture and leave the sample with the patient and not send it for testing or test it there?? Waste of time and they are SO slow!! Literally as if they don't care about their patients. Urgent care should be faster than that especially if only a few people are ahead of him. Waste of time and co pay! We will be going to another urgent care in the city with much better service. I highly recommend going somewhere else! Even the ER because over here is just a waste of time. Read all the other reviews because it is really that true. Never again. Also, NP said the culture results should be out by end of day because after 3hrs he said he had to leave and still no call. We called them and they said it would take a couple of days for the test results. This place needs to get their facts straight.

After surgery I was referred to CPE for my physical therapy. Due to an uncompassionate workers compensation adjuster, I was forced to return to work early, giving me only one day a week for therapy. The staff at CPE showed true compassion over my situation and helped me with multiple exercises I could do at home. The CPE team are true professionals, caring, knowledgeable, compassionate, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Dr. Widener, the nurses, and the entire staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and thorough. They identified an important complicating factor in my treatment just through thoughtful screening questions and actually reviewing them. The kind of attention to detail that's becoming rare, and it genuinely changed the course of my care for the better. What impressed me even more was that they provided this level of careful, patient-centered treatment while simultaneously managing another patient who appeared to have a very serious, time-critical emergency. Their ability to stay focused, calm, and compassionate with everyone involved speaks volumes about the quality of this team. I'm incredibly grateful for the care I received and the professionalism I witnessed. We are lucky to have this ER in our community.

I check with my insurance, and this place is NOT in network with them! I am too young for Medicare, so I have civilian type insurance. Like I said check with your insurance company before you are seen! Also, FYI...this place is nothing more than a glorified Urgent Care that over charges you!
