A while back I added this business to yelp and then forgot to review it. Haha! Over the past year we have purchased 3 bedroom suites from this company. My sons had outgrown their other beds and we had one going off to college. The selection is great and the owner is very helpful in discussing options, configuration and working with us on some minor customization. Two of the beds had trundle style storage underneath. We also purchased the mattresses and we felt that not only did we get good service, but also good quality and value. I have made two purchases here and both went smoothly and as expected. I am surprised to read these reviews that take issue with the help (or lack thereof), it's a warehouse. We loved being able to walk through without being followed. And the prices were better. We had help loading our truck for the 1st purchase and they delivered the second as requested. I ordered over $3,700 worth of furniture on 06/01/20 with the promise of said furniture coming in the week of June 22. No follow up call once I left a 2K deposit. I stopped in July 6th and bedroom set still wasn't in. I was concerned as my parentals were coming in the following week. When they checked the system, per my request, date showed TBD for the bed. Coffee table still hadn't arrived either - system showed a due date of August for said coffee table. I went postal. I must admit, it was not one of my finer moments... the owner was on vaca but refused to speak with me although had x2 convos with the sales person. I told them I wanted to cancel the order and the sales person referred me to the "all sales is final" clause printed on the back of the receipt. So their thought process is I'm supposed to wait til August for a cocktail table and God knows when for a bed? Ya, that's fair. I'd rather sleep on an air mattress - now going on 6 weeks versus giving them a cent. I'm disputing the charges. Should you decide to give your business to this company, make sure you get in writing a date when to expect furniture and ask for all deliveries fees up front. I wish I could give a ZERO. Sent my hubby in for a box spring for a bed. He came home with to-be-assembled box. They did not tell him that it requires assembly before they took his money, nor did they have a sample on the floor. Not happy with anything about it, we didn't open the box and he attempted to return. Of course they refused even though the box was not opened. Cheap junk furniture, poor service. Three weeks since I ordered my furniture, was given a 14 day delivery estimate and no customer service calls to tell me why the delay. Delivery was estimated at 14 days. I've had to call them twice for updates just to be told it will be another week both times. read more

If I could rate them a negative I would! I also have contacted the BBB and the owner Donald Mintz with no response! I ordered a sectional December 5th contacted them over the phone discussed cost and delivery. 3 piece sectional in stock and delivery before Christmas. Placed the order paid in full. Then after going to Ashley furniture decided to add the single chair piece. Called them back was told the price and delivery would not be until after 1st of year. Because it was 125 for a small piece I would just pick it up. I already paid 295 for 3 pieces. Furniture came Tuesday before Christmas however the 3 pieces promised was not correct! The single piece was with the chaise and couch, the piece that was not supposed to be available until after the first of the year! I called and asked what was going on? There were also strips of fabric not matching the furniture sown in the seats? The frame is broken and bent! Now it's January 11th and still 3 rd piece of sectional is missing and now I'm being told the other salesman Shelby miss spoke about the sale and Karla is telling the truth it won't be available until February 4th? WTH! She began yelling at me after putting me on hold to check the status then had to call me back once she got her story straight! This time I explained to her had I known the delivery was not going to take place when stated I would have canceled and I wanted to speak with the manager I was not happy the way this was being handled! She hung up in me? I called her back again she hung up on me when I told her it was me! As a paying customer I believe I have the right to speak with a manager to discuss the issue. Stacey and Isaac were who we dealt with. They are both fenomenal! Isaac is the reason we came back to buy more furniture, but Stacey helped us when Isaac was assisting someone else. The prices were great! We saw the same bedroom set at Unclaimed Furniture for $1,100 more than what we paid at Carolina Direct. We had a small issue with getting the incorrect head board and some light damage on the dresser (looked like a manufacturing flaw?) and Isaac handles it quickly and professionally. I always recommend my friends and family go here and our latest experience further solidified the reasons that I choose to shop here. read more

Listen... you arent going to an Ashley Furniture or a Rooms to go here. This is warehouse where they get much better deals and pass them on, which the big box stores waste on fancy displays and overpaid staff. So many people whining about delivery dates and customer service on here... bottom line... if you want to keep more of your hard earned money - get the EXACT same furntiure as the big boys.. I mean the exact same models for a fraction of the price. Very nice staff, doing their best. Same as some of the discounters.. if they are going to keep prices low some other areas have to give. I'd rather keep my money and give a little on a missed date or customer service as long as I get the items at a lower cost. That said, Ive never had any problems at all with delivery dates or customer service!! There will always be incidents, but remember, more people jump on for a negative review than a positive, and thats just unfortunately true of just about everywhere. People love to complain. I'll only ever buy furniture / mattresses, etc from these guys. read more
