Dr. Liu is a very decent and professional doctor who has been working in this field for 20+ years, about 12 of which was spent in China where the authentic acupuncture treatment rooted in. He is very knowledgeable about the right treatment in acupuncture. The first time I took the treatment there for a shoulder pain, he gave me acupuncture followed by sucking cups. When I left the office, my shoulder feels like a new one! So I started continuous treatment there since then. I later learned that his acupuncture does not just cure pain, but also help with sleeping difficulties, even pollen allergy! I slept better when he gave me a few needles treatment on my head! This is really amazing acupuncture office. He is very busy and I feel lucky that I can find a Chinese doctor who really understand what a real acupuncture is. I have been seeing Kirk for a little over a year now and I think that he is the best one that I have ever had. I used to be a little squeamish about the needles (with other practitioners), but Kirk's hand is so light, that I cannot feel it at all. I mean, NOTHING. I used to think previous acupuncturist were good, but Kirk's really good at what he does. I was in a car accident about ten years ago that left me with chronic neck and back pain. It took years of acupuncture and chiropractic care to manage the pain, and almost get rid of it. Every now and then, I sleep the wrong way or move incorrectly and the pain comes back, but I have found that instead of going for adjustments, Kirk gets right to the source with the needles and I am moving normally in no time. What makes Kirk so great is how thorough and attentive he is to your needs and symptoms. This guy was born to be a healer. I always feel like I am in very gentle, caring and professional hands. More importantly, he likes to get to the root of your problems. I had a girlfriend recommend Kirk and since I have been seeing him, I have brought in my teenage daughter and my mother who lives in Texas. She said that she was going to be sure to visit Kirk every time he comes. He then finally reviewed my labs after I spent over $400 on IV treatments and says the treatments did not work due me having too much malabsorption due to weight loss surgery. Why didn't he tell me this from the beginning? I asked for a refund and he refuses to give me one. What doctor waits until after you spend money on IV treatments before reviewing your bloodwork? He is very unprofessional, unethical and immoral and I hope this serves as a warning. They are only interested into funneling you into their profit generating useless IV treatments.

He recommends preventative measures that we find very effective and neither my wife or I take any prescription medications and haven't for almost 20 years.
