Caprice - like its elder cousin Camplone in the center of town, serves some of Pescara's best "capricci", little pre-made and chocolate covered ice cream cones. But that's not the real reason you should come. And neither are their excellent and creative gelato and semifreddo cakes (perfect for a grownup's birthday party). No, the reason to come to Caprice are their local, Abruzzo-themed gelato flavors. Usually at least a dozen of the fourty-odd flavors available are linked this beautiful region: from Aurum, the local verson of Gran Marnier, to saffron from l'Aquila; from local liquorice to pecorino (a wine, not a cheese).
